Tayzzyronth the Propagation, also known as the Swarm Author and the Imperator Insectorum, is a major antagonist in the 2023 science fantasy turn-based tactical role-playing video game Honkai: Star Rail.
Tayzzyronth was an Aeon that embodied the Path of Propagation. They existed solely to multiply themselves and spread throughout the cosmos, devouring everything in their wake. Even after Tayzzyronth's supposed demise, their Swarm continued to terrorize countless worlds.
History[]
Long time ago, on the planet of Lepismat, a planet with biodiversity, there's a species called Coleoptera. They are an insect species with multiple sexes each performing their own duties. One day, an unknown civilization discovered the planet and people started to hunt those insects because of their diverse ecology.
At one point, the insect species was driven to near extinction. Tayzzyronth, the last member of their species ascended to Aeonhood in order to perserve their species. The Path of Propagation, which ideologically consisted of placing chief importance on the instinctual desires of reproduction and self-sustenance, was born from the loneliness and desperation Tayzzyronth felt from being the last of their kind. By dividing up the Path of the deceased Aeon of Permanence, Long, Tayzzyronth was reborn as an Aeon with the power to self-replicate.
Tayzzyroth's influence spread so much that they started to have a conflict with Oroboros, Aeon of The Voracity. The war between the two of them caused a lot of damage to civilizations throughout the universe.
To stop the disaster. Ena, Aeon of Order, seeked help from Qlipoth. The deal is Ena will help Qlipoth kill Oroboros but Qlipoth will kill Tayzzyronth by themself. While in the meantime, Fuli the Rememberance harvested memories from the destroyed worlds left in the aftermath.
Due to an alliance made with other Aeons, Ena became too close to the path of Harmony and got assimilated by Xipe when they ascended to Aeonhood. Nonetheless Tayzzyronth was killed by Qlipoth's hammer as they agree with Ena, with the help of HooH, Xipe, Aha and Akivili. Marking the end of the Swarm Disaster. However, the swarm and the path itself still exists and they still try to expand their influence to this day. Whatever happened to Oroboros is currently unknown.
Then many eras later. The Xianzhou Alliance has discovering a wanderer, Luocha, had been carried the fragment of Tayzzyronth inside his coffin. To enact a grand plan for bring the end against Yaoshi, which serves as the final nail of THEIR doom.
Trivia[]
- The Xianzhou Alliance categorized Tayzzyronth into the "Authors of Calamity," a group of Aeons characterized by their destructive nature. Other Authors of Calamity included Nanook the Destruction and Yaoshi the Abundance.
- At some point in the past, Aventurine misled the Intelligentsia Guild into believing Tayzzyronth's remains were located at Egyhazo and caused the Interastral Peace Corporation to lose tons of manpower and resources.
