	~ Maximus R. Brainius

Maximus R. Brainius is a villain from the Teletoon animated series, Sidekick. He is a computer scientist who invented Maxum Brain, as well as most of the robots and technological devices used by the people of Splittsboro. He appeared in "Eric and the Maxum Brain Factory".

He is voiced by Tony Daniels, who also voices Maxum Brain from the same series.

Biography[]

In "Eric and the Maxum Brain Factory", Maxum Brain got rebooted and sent back to the Maxum Brain factory, where the sidekicks followed out of curiosity. When they got there, they were greeted by none other than legendary scientist, Maximus R. Brainius, inventor of the entire Maxum Brain band. They were all so honored to see him and he announced that he would be upgrading the Maxum Brains. Eric was excited to hear that Maxum Brain would be upgraded until he heard that what this meant, was that Maximus R. Brainius would be destroying Maxum Brain, as well as all of the other Maxum Brains, in the incinerator and have them recycled into adult diapers. On top of that, Kitty also found it disgusting that Maximus R. Brainius was producing copious amounts of water pollution from this too. Maximus also made some suspicious comments about how he wanted to use a robot army to help him take over the world.

Maximus R. Brainius tried to convince Eric that the death of Maxum Brain would actually be a good thing by introducing him to Brain 2.0, the new and improved version of Maxum Brain. Eric was on board with killing Maxum Brain at this point until Brain 2.0 turned out to be brutal and annoying, even more so than the original Maxum Brain ever was. Maximus got alerted by one of his LOIDS that one of his robots had turned sentient and was thinking for itself. Maximus took out a sledgehammer and went to go destroy it. In his absence, Eric and the sidekicks agreed that they should go and save Maxum Brain. Not only that, but Kitty set all of the Maxum Brains free.

When Maximus R. Brainius heard about his Maxum Brains being set free, he and his Brain 2.0 set out to destroy them and seize the sidekicks who brought about this situation. After a big chase through the factory, Maxum Brain escaped being caught when he dropped himself and the sidekicks down into the pollution river. When Maximus R. Brainius and Brain 2.0 tried to chase after them, they ended up falling off the waterfall and landing in it, causing Brain 2.0 to explode and Maximus R. Brainius to get completely submerged in all of his garbage.

At the end of the episode, Maximus R. Brainius arose from the pollution river and his face melted off, revealing that he was actually a robot underneath.

Trivia[]

• Maximun R. Brainius is an Indian man, who is suggested to believe in the typical Hindu traditions of reincatnation, as suggested by how he announced that Maxum Brain would be "reborn" as Brain 2.0.
• At the end of the episode he appeared in, it was revealed that he was secretly a robot person, himself.
• Although he did not appear in the episode "I, Sidebot", Maximus R. Brainius was revealed to be the inventor of the LOIDS, when they were shown to work in his laboratory.
