The Great Spirit Palmito is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside the Leptys) of the video game, Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc.
He is a powerful spirit who resides in the Land of the Livid Dead to have a peaceful slumber. He was responsible for the genocide of the Griskins and imprisoned their spirits in a tower of light as revenge for disturbing his slumber.

Palmito is one of the many residents who lived in the Land of the Livid Dead where he wishes to enjoy a peaceful slumber as he drifts to sleep. However, when a tribe of Teensies, the Griskins, begin singing, he awoken from his slumber and becomes enraged from the sound of singing. In a gruesome response, he attacks and extinguishes the Griskins and constructs a tower where he takes the spirits of the Griskins he have killed to be imprisoned for eternity. With his deeds done, he would continue to sleep peacefully as he intended to make sure that he and the other spirits never again let their slumber be disturbed.
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc[]
While he remains in his slumber, the Hoodlums began to occupy the land and captured some of the Griskins to be put in their cages. As Rayman journeys through the land, he discovered the tower where Palmito had imprisoned the rest of the Griskins' spirits that remained yet to be captured by the Hoodlums. Once Rayman frees the Griskins on top of the tower, the Griskins summoned a portal that leads to the other Griskins that remain in captivity, giving Rayman the advantage to free them and in return use the power of their lightning to fight back against the Hoodlums. With the Griskins niw free and once again singing, it is unclear if Palmito is disturbed by them or not,
