Ikkou Kasumi and Isshu Kasumi are the deuteragonists of Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger, first appearing as antagonists before defecting and becoming protagonists.
They can transform into KabutoRaiger and KuwagaRaiger respectively, and together form the Gouraigers.
They are portrayed by Yujiro Shirakawa and Nobuo Kyo respectively.
Biography[]
Ikkou and Isshu Kasumi were born to a power hungry father that more than them just wanted power of "It". He trained both brothers very harshly and toughened them up in the entirely opposite ways the Hurricangers were treated. While the Hurricangers were in the light and in the Hayate way of life, the Gouraigers were born in the darkness and apart from each other, they were cold to anyone else and even after their father's death, they were determined to find "It". When they first saw the Hurricangers, they hated them and for the first act of the show, they were antagonistic. They allied with Jakanja and refused to join the side of good when given the chance by the Hurricangers. While with Jankanja, they fought with their mecha against Senpujin the Hurricanger mecha and pummeled them to the ground. Although during the end of the first arc, the Kasumi's learned they needed to fight each other and this drove them to fight each other with Ikkou wanting Isshu to kill him. After seeing the errors in their ways, the joined the Hurricangers until the end of their fight with Jakanja.
Gokaiger[]
Years later, Gouraigers returned and fought alongside not only their own team, but every single Sentai ranger in existence, against the Empire of Zangyack when it attacked the Earth in the Great Legend War. After fighting against hundreds of Gormin and their Zgormin commanders. AkaRenger noticed the fleet moving towards them, before gathering all the Rangers together and giving them the order to sacrifice their powers to wipe out the first invasion's armada.
After the defeat of Ackdos Gill, Captain Marvelous returned all the Ranger Keys to the former Sentai heroes. It is assumed the Gouraigers and their teammates received their keys, allowing for them to utilize their powers once again.
Zyuohger vs. Ninninger[]
Hurricanegers and Gouraigers appeared with their team among the first 38 Super Sentai whom collectively empowered Wild Tousai Shuriken King in its fight against the titanic Gillmarda, granting the Ninningers and Zyuohgers the power to perform the Zyuoh Ninnin Super Sentai Burst which destroyed Gillmarda with the combined power of all 40 Super Sentai.

Trivia[]
- Through the show and Hurricanger, the Kasumis do change and warm up to the Hurricangers by calling them by their names etc.
- Hurricanger also shows their story out of the darkness, and the culmination is shown in the movie, ten years after where it shows all the personality they have gained.
