The Buglars were the footsoldiers and technicians of Vaglass and recurring antagonists in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters.
Biographies[]
Past[]
The very first Buglars ever were created by Messiah from a power outlet within the Energy Transport Center in the Dainan District of Tokyo immediately after he gained sentience. However, the scientists sacrificed themselves to teleport the entire Transport Center into Hyper Space to trap Messiah. What happened to the first Buglars after this is unclear.
Go-Busters[]
13 years after being sent away, in 2012, Messiah gains the means to send his agents back to Earth with the ultimate goal of gathering enough Enetron to bring him back so he can assimilate the entire planet to cement his reign. The first two Buglars in the series are seen when Ryuji Iwasaki and Usami confront Enter as he steals Enetron and fight the two Go-Busters. However, they are soon overwhelmed and killed by the Ichigo Busters.
From then on, Buglars are created in a somewhat similar process that the Metaloids are: Enter uses a Buglers Card into his laptop, then plugs it into a socket. The Buglers Card infects Enetron, then transforms it into Buglers which come out of another socket. After the permanent death of Messiah, the Buglars serve Enter and a resurrected Escape but are all soon killed and no more can be made due to Enter's death soon after.
Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters[]
A year later, Enter and Escape are both revived as part of a Vaglass restoration program and team-up with the Deboth Army to awake Space War God Borudosu. As a result, the Buglars return as well and team up with the Golem Soldiers, Barmia Soldiers and Zorima to gather Dino Hope energy but are all soon killed by the assembled Dinosaur Sentai teams.
Zenkaiger[]
After breaking his seal and escaping from the Agastia Base, Asmodeus summons the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai books from off the shelves and uses them to call forth an army of villains previously defeated by the Kamen Riders and Super Sentai which include a platoon of Buglars. Many are destroyed but most of the Buglars survive long enough to see Asmodeus' plans seemingly come to fruition until Touma Kamiyama manages to help Shotaro himself regain his passion for drawing out superheroes which, in turn, revives all of the Kamen Riders and the Super Sentai teams back into existence. Ultimately, the entire army itself is be wiped out by the full and combined might of Kamen Rider Saber as well as his fellow swordsmen and the Zenkaigers along with Zocks Goldtsuiker supported by the Kamen Riders and the previous Red Rangers.
Personality[]
The Buglars were mostly mindless footsoldiers loyal to their masters who communicated only in robotic grunts.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Human Disguises: The Buglars could assume an assortment of human forms in a swirl of golden energy resembling computer code.
Arsenal[]
- Claw Blasters: The Buglars were all armed with claw-like blasters which could fire light purple lasers or be used as sharp clubs.
- Pistols: The first two Buglars seen in the series wielded Beretta 8000 Cougars against Yoko and Ryuji.
