Black Sugar Swan Cookie is the main antagonist of the Cookie Run: OvenBreak story "Peril in Paradise".
Also known as Black Sugar Duck, she started out as a duckling that arrived at Dessert Paradise. When she became a Cookie, she began to take over Dessert Paradise and attempted to cover the entire environment with darkness. She was released as a playable character on September 12th, 2024.
Biography[]
Trip to Paradise[]
Black Sugar Duck joins along in Blue Slushy Cookie's adventure into becoming a real Dessert Guardian. The duckling was being taken care of by Whipped Cream Cookie during the adventure. When Sugar Swan Cookie returned after her long journey, Whipped Cream looked for Black Sugar Duck as he thought it would be nice to listen to Sugar Swan's story together. Black Sugar Duck admires Sugar Swan Cookie's beauty but she is ashamed of her own looks. She then plans on becoming the most beautiful being in the world. Somehow, Black Sugar Duck became a Cookie and eventually turned into the beautiful Black Sugar Swan Cookie.
Peril in Paradise[]
Blue Slushy Cookie rushes to tell Red Panna Cotta Cookie that the Sugar Swan has returned early. When the Dessert Guardians arrived at Galaxy Lake to see Sugar Swan Cookie, the Sugar Swan had a sudden new appearance and a different personality. Red Panna Cotta began investigating on Black Sugar Swan Cookie whether she was the real Sugar Swan or not. Black Sugar Swan started using her powers to redecorate Dessert Paradise with darkness to make her own paradise the way she wants it. While Black Sugar Swan is alone in her garden thinking about Red Panna Cotta being against her, she hears Whipped Cream Cookie calling out for Black Sugar Duck and catches him without his permission to be in her garden. Whipped Cream apologizes as he was looking for Black Sugar Duck. However, Black Sugar Swan tells him not to worry about his friend and dances with him in the moonlight.
After her dance with Whipped Cream Cookie, Black Sugar Swan uses her powers more which causes the state of Dessert Paradise to worsen. It also has caused the dessert animals to become ill. As Red Panna Cotta and Gold Honey Cake Cookie investigate the corrupted interior of the Galaxy Lake Castle, she catches both of them and puts them inside of a birdcage.
Black Sugar Swan dances with Whipped Cream Cookie again. Whipped Cream mentions about the dessert animals falling ill and is concerned about his friend. It angers Black Sugar Swan as she makes Whipped Cream Cookie leave from her presence, being unaware about Dessert Paradise being in danger. She comes back to the castle and attempts to persuade Red Panna Cotta Cookie about Dessert Paradise being saved if he obeys her, in which Red Panna Cotta refuses to do so. Suddenly, Black Sugar Swan began to glow and Gold Honey Cake Cookie recognized the light from the castle before the Sugar Swan left for her journey.
A flashback is shown about Black Sugar Duck going to give Sugar Swan Cookie a flower crown before she leaves for another journey. However, her flower crown gets ruined as she tries to get attention from Sugar Swan Cookie and was too late after the Sugar Swan left. She would see light from the castle and finds the power of Eternal Sweetness. This would turn her into Black Sugar Swan Cookie, revealing that Black Sugar Duck was Black Sugar Swan Cookie all along. She also even knew alot about the Guardian test that Blue Slushy Cookie took and had the power of Eternal Sweetness used as a necklace.
Later, she finds out about Whipped Cream Cookie freeing Red Panna Cotta and Gold Honey Cake Cookie from their birdcage thinking that he betrayed her. Black Sugar Swan uses the power of Eternal Sweetness again which results in Dessert Paradise's air becoming stale. As she continues to fight against the Dessert Guardians, the Cookiemals, and Wind Archer Cookie, the real Sugar Swan Cookie returns and confronts Black Sugar Swan. Black Sugar Swan attempts to use more of the Eternal Sweetness, but her powers suddenly stop working. The Sugar Swan reveals that Black Sugar Swan used too much power of the Eternal Sweetness and she realizes how much damage she caused to Dessert Paradise. She decides to let go of the Eternal Sweetness and transforms back into Black Sugar Duck resulting in Dessert Paradise returning back to normal. While Black Sugar Duck admits her mistakes, Sugar Swan Cookie requests Black Sugar Duck if she can watch over Dessert Paradise while she is away. As the Dessert Guardians agreed, Black Sugar Swan Cookie is now positioned as one of Dessert Paradise's guardians and will now take care of Dessert Paradise for good.
After Black Sugar Swan Cookie redeems herself, she dances with Whipped Cream Cookie. She attends at her first meeting with the other Dessert Guardians as they are getting along well. While she looks at her reflection in the water, she slips into the water and gets wet as she sees her duck form. She spends time with Sugar Swan Cookie while drying off in her duck form. The Dessert Guardians later give Black Sugar Swan Cookie a flower necklace as a gift, and she likes it.
