Bruce Perreault is a contestant from Survivor 44 and Survivor 45.
After sustaining a concussion during the opening Reward Challenge of Survivor 44, Bruce became the first person to be medically evacuated on Day 1.
Following his evacuation, Bruce received an invitation from Jeff Probst to compete in a future season,[2] leading to his participation in Survivor 45. His paternal instincts drew polarized receptions from his cast, notably sparking a season-long vendetta harbored by tribemate Katurah Topps. Following the merge, Bruce became a pariah but evaded elimination through a series of immunity wins and by wielding his Hidden Immunity Idol defensively. When he lost immunity at the final eight, the tribe pounced on the opportunity to defuse his threat, placating him enough to stop him from playing his idol before blindsiding him in a split vote.

Which previous player do you identify with the most? Who do you think you will play most like? Jeremy Collins. I would identify the most with him. His sense of family and commitment. I would play like Jeremy Collins.

What is the accomplishment you are most proud of? Raising two awesome kids with my amazing wife

3 Words to Describe You: Funny, competitive, energetic.
Why do you want to be part of Survivor? I love this game! This is something that I need a chance to play. I lost that chance and now have it back. The construct of this game is a microcosm of our everyday life. I want to be a part of Survivor because Survivor is my life.
What's one life experience you feel has prepared you for the game? My life…. I have been through the foster care system. I am, on a daily basis, working on ways to survive in my daily life.
Which previous player do you identify with the most? Who do you think you will play most like? Still my boy, Jeremy Collins. His values and sense of family mirror mine. I'll play the game like Jeremy, like Jesse from [season] 43, like Gabler. I cannot conform to just one player or style. I will be able to assess the situation and adapt to it.
Favorite Hobbies: Golf, boxing.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of? Raising two awesome kids with my amazing wife.
Why will you be the Sole Survivor? I will be the Sole Survivor because this is my time.[4]

Survivor 44[]
Assigned to the Tika tribe, Bruce hit his head against an obstacle and started to bleed profusely minutes into the first Reward Challenge. Though he felt lightheaded from the injury, the medical team was able to treat him with oxygen, clearing him to return to camp with his tribe. Later that night, however, Bruce's concussive symptoms returned and medical was called once again. They ultimately made the decision to pull Bruce from the game, much to his disappointment.
During the premiere episode of On Fire with Jeff Probst, Jeff formally invited Bruce to return for the next season, which he accepted.[5]

^1 In "I'm Not Batman, I'm the Canadian", Kaleb successfully played his Shot in the Dark, negating Bruce's vote against him. Because Kaleb negated all the votes cast at Tribal Council, a vote restart was held between all the non-immune players. Bruce changed his vote to J. Maya on the restart.
^2 In "Following a Dead Horse to Water", Bruce lost his vote as a result of having the most money left over at the end of the Survivor Auction, making him ineligible to vote at Tribal Council.
