"I started this journey when my Mom and Dad started reading me #starwars golden books. Like most little girls I was drawn to Leia. 💫 When I went to #disneyland and flew the Millennium Falcon for the first time around 6 years old I was hooked on the whole galaxy! ✨ So when Deborah offered me the role I was speechless. She had to ask me for sure if I was saying yes! Then I got to spend the summer playing with droids, meeting an amazing crew, acting with a cast that made me feel special and respected and learning so much. And now I've met the fans who've made this journey even more incredible! 👀 The memories of this #obiwankenobi adventure will always be a part of me. Thank you to everyone that helped make this happen and thank you for believing in me😻"
―Vivien Lyra Blair on Facebook[2]

Vivien Lyra Blair, born June 4, 2012, is an American actress[1] who portrays a young Leia Organa in Obi-Wan Kenobi.[3] In addition to her role on Star Wars, she is best known for playing Sandra Bullock's adoptive daughter "Girl" in the Netflix horror thriller film Bird Box, Alba in the narrative video game Telling Lies, Guppy in the Netflix superhero film We Can Be Heroes alongside fellow Star Wars actor Pedro Pascal, and starring as Sawyer in the horror film The Boogeyman.

Blair learned how to read with Star Wars books, and she fell in love with the droid R2-D2.[4] The young actress was offered the role of Leia Organa by director Deborah Chow and spent a summer filming for it.[2] In a chemistry test between Blair and Ewan McGregor, the actor who played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the series, they recited the lines for one of their conversations on Daiyu. Chow felt that Blair had the essence of Organa and Carrie Fisher, the actress who played the character in the original trilogy. McGregor said that Blair had all of the wit and cheek of Fisher's portrayal of Organa. Blair and McGregor got to know each other better during shooting, which went hand in hand with Organa and Kenobi's relationship in the series.[4]
