Soups were a food item served in liquid form, sometimes alongside salads or meats. They could be thickened for a better taste. It was also used as a metaphor for a particularly thick atmosphere.[3]
Two types of Mandalorian soups included gi dumpling and red gourd soups, and both were served at a cantina in the town of Enceri on Mandalore.[2]
Zao would often cook soup,[4] and had a recipe for a cold melon soup.[5]
The Sith species traditionally consumed a type of soup called bloodsoup.[6] ~28,000 BBY, Adas consumed the bloodsoup of his enemies[7] and in 1000 BBY, Githany offered bloodsoup to Darth Bane after unsuccessfully trying to poison him.[8][9]
