Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A group of insurgents were located on the planet Sammun in the Batonn sector during the Imperial Era. During the Batonn sector insurgency, they joined forces with the Batonn insurgents and the Denash insurgents. Commander Karyn Faro of the Imperial Navy's Ninety-Sixth Task Force, acting under Admiral Thrawn's direction, neutralized the Sammun insurgents. The Ninety-Sixth Task Force destroyed two starships, and captured four starships and a considerable array of small arms ordnance.^[1]
