An active reentry thruster
Reentry thrusters, also referred to as reentry boosters,[1] were engines that were used to assist objects and vessels when landing. During the Imperial Era, class four container transports carried cargo containers that were equipped with reentry thrusters.[1] On their mission on the planet Serenno, Clone Force 99 members Echo, Tech and Omega escaped a class four freighter in a container that was equipped with such thrusters.[2]
