The Jinet system was a remote and uninhabited star system in the Brak sector of the Expansion Region.[1] Shortly before the Battle of Yavin[3] the Alliance to Restore the Republic constructed a secret starfighter base[1] on the planet Jinet.[3] The base's complement of starfighters was a full squadron of BTL Y-wing starfighters.[1]
