The Archeon Nebula was a nebula in the Lothal sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It was a stellar nursery where new stars were being born. Due to this, its gases could be ignited by proton torpedoes. The Archeon pass, a dangerous smuggling route, traversed the nebula. In 2 BBY, Captain Hera Syndulla of the Ghost, on a mission to transport Senator Mon Mothma to Dantooine, decided to use the pass as a shortcut out of the Lothal sector.^[1]
