Moon Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance[]

Moon Chao have rocky gray pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating yellow dot above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of pink wings on their backs.

Overview[]

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Moon Chao is a collectible pet of the "Legendary" rarity. It could only be unlocked by purchasing one for 299 Robux during the original run of the Hologram Havoc event from the 4th of February 2023 to the 11th of February 2023, or by purchasing a set of five for 999 Robux during the aforementioned event.

In gameplay, Moon Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, the Moon Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb, grant them additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring, and will raise the player's jumping power slightly. The player can as well level up Moon Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Moon Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Moon Chao by collecting five Moon Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Moon Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities[]

Moon Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
