Eggman's Ultra-Accelerating Space Elevator (エッグマンズ スペースエレベーター,Eggumanzu Supēsu Erebētā?, lit. "Eggman's Space Elevator"), also known as the Egg Mecha,[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It was a small elevator leading to Egg Planet Park.

Rather ironically, Eggman's Ultra-Accelerating Space Elevator resembled a large snail. The elevator was mainly painted red, with silver sections on the "head" and the sides of the "shell". On one of the sides was a small, round window with an orange outline. The area the space elevator went through was a large, white pillar that connected Egg Planet Park with Earth.

Sonic Colors[]
In Sonic Colors, Sonic and Tails hitched a ride on Eggman's Ultra-Accelerating Space Elevator to get to Egg Planet Park and find out what Dr. Eggman was up to, largely accessing it with ease due to someone leaving the keys in the space elevator (causing Sonic to speculate Eggman may have deliberately let them sneak in).
Much later, when Eggman accidentally created a void of negative Hyper-go-on that began consuming all of Egg Planet Park, Sonic and Tails attempted to escape by using the Ultra-Accelerating Space Elevator to go back home. When they were confronted by the doctor there, however, the hedgehog pushed the fox into the elevator and sent him back to safety to the Earth while he faced his nemesis. Sonic would soon after fight the scientist in the crumbling pillar that the space elevator went through.
