Vehicle Information
Owner: Horatio McCallister
Use: Fishing boat
First Appearance: Gnaws

The Orca II was a fishing boat owned by Horatio McCallister.

History[edit]

Horatio McCallister, Chief Wiggum, and Professor Frink went aboard the boat to try to kill a monstrously mutated Blinky fish. When they caught up to the fish, McCallister was able to wound it by spearing it with several harpoons. However, Blinky leapt out of the water and onto the stern of the boat, inflicting enough damage on the boat that it soon sank. The fish also killed McCallister when the boat listed far enough astern that McCallister slid aft down the deck and into the fish's open mouth, in spite of Wiggum's best efforts to rescue him. After that, Wiggum succeeded in killing the fish by putting a gas barbecue grill into its mouth and then blowing up the grill's propane tank by shooting it with his service revolver.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

  • The boat's name is a reference to the Orca, Quint's boat in Jaws. The Orca II also bears a strong resemblance to the Orca.
  • In one frame, "die harder" appears on the boat's nameplate, a reference to the film Die Hard 2, which is often subtitled "Die Harder".
