Rey, later self-proclaimed Rey Skywalker, is one of the protagonists of the Star Wars franchise, being main protagonist of sequel trilogy.

What Makes Her a Shonen Hero?[]

• Heroic/Honorable: Rey confronts Darth Sidious and eventually destroys the latter with the the assistance of the spirits of "All Jedi". The defeat of Darth Sidious allows the Resistance to win against the First Order and possibly ends the conflict between the Jedi and the Sith.
• Courageous/Reckless: Rey shows no fear when encountering enemies such as Kylo Ren and Darth Sidious.
• Stubborn: It is difficult for Rey to change her mind once she'd made a decision. An example is that she impatiently steals a skiff speeder to reach the remains of the Death Star on Kef Bir instead of waiting for the tides to subside.
• Pursues a Big-End Goal: When Rey was a scavenger, she dreamed of a better life offworld at the end of day. Rey would later becomes a member of the Resistance and commits herself to destroying the First Order.
• Optimistic: Despite living in a harsh environment as a scavenger, Rey maintains hope of finding her parents until knowing that her parents are killed.
• Possesses Plot Armor: After Darth Sidious drains the life force from Rey and Ben, the the spirits of "All Jedi" allows her to stand up against Darth Sidious. After Rey dies from the sheer amount of the power necessary to destory Darth Sidious, Ben Solo sacrifices himself to revive Rey.
• Short-Tempered: One of Rey's noticeably controversial trait is that she is short-tempered. It once causes her to accidentally use Force Lightning, a technique associated with the dark side of the Force.
