Slinky Tart Inspiration Post - Unchained Melody

Good Morning and welcome to my last post for the Slinky Tart Design Team. I have been deliberating for a little while now and have decided to step down from this fab DT just simply because I haven't got enough time to do everything this half term.

The last half term of the school year is always the busiest with end of year reports and assessments (and this year we have an extra set of assessments to trial a new way of assessing the children's progress now the UK government have taken levelling away!), parents evenings and everything else that we teachers have to do, that the general public doesn't realise goes on behind the scenes. Nope, we don't work 9 - 3 and have all the holidays off either! I just need to free up some of my time for school work so am stepping down from a couple of my DT positions.

Anyway on to my card...I have used the fab Unchained Melody for this one and did her in my fave colour combo seeing as it is my final DT card - hot pink and black!

Recipe:

Slinky Tart Inspiration Post - Evilynn

Good Morning and welcome to my inspiration post for Slinky Tart. This week I have chosen to use one of the Spunky tart images - Tamara's sister store to the Slinkies! I just love the sentiment that came with this stamp.

Instead of my usual card, I decided to make a wall hanging instead with Evilynn as the focus! I used a regal colour combo of red and purple as I thought those colours would suit her.

And here it is hanging up - not got a hook for it yet so I looped it round my Copic refill box and you can see some of my old SU stamps in my Ikea cube unit! I have now officially dropped as a demo for Stampin' Up. I managed to do 5 1/2 years mostly as a hobby demo, but I have now lost all interest in their stamps. i will still use their card, ink, ribbon and some patterned papers, but out of the everything in the new catalogue I wanted all of 5 things!

And yet another photo - this is just a little close up of the image.

This wall hanging is also for Crafty Girlz Challenge #2 Anything Goes

Slinky Tart Inspiration Post - Illiana

Good Morning and welcome to my latest inspiration post for the Slinky Tart blog. I chose to use the gorgeous Illiana for my car and just had to colour her up in some hot pink and brown! After cutting her out with my oval Nestabilities, she reminded my of an old style portrait so added a bit of Crumb Cake ink round the edge of the die cut to age it up a bit. I just LOVE how this one came out!

24 Carat Bunny Boo

Tamara of Slinky Tart released this gorgeous 24 Carat Bunny Boo just in time for Easter and I just had to use her for my boyfriend's Easter card and I thought he might appreciate this sexy bunny digi more than a cutesy one. She does remind me of Marilyn Monroe as a Playboy Bunny girl!

My Silhouette machine did play up a bit on this one, but for some reason as soon as I did a practice cut on some copy paper rather than trying card for the third time, it just seemed to work perfectly. Cutting where it was supposed to cut without messing up too. Bizarre!

Good morning and welcome to my inspiration post for Slinky Tart. The other week Tamara brought out a fabulous new digi, called Blood Soup and as I totally love anything vampire, I just had to use her on my card for this week's post!

And here she is...I couldn't decide on whether to do the more common red eyes or the yellow eyes that Angel has when he vamps up, so instead I did a combination of the two and I love how they came out! Looks like shes just about to go all vampy!

Slinky Tart Inspiration Post - Narissa

Good morning everyone and Happy Friday! Boy has it been a long week. It's my turn to post a card today for the Slinky Tart blog and for this week's card I have chosen to use the beautiful Narissa.

I decided to go for a pink and purple combo on this one and had to do a little bit of a fix up when I got a blob of purple in the wrong place! That explains why she's wearing a bikini top when she's not supposed to!

A Smexy for my Daddy!

It's my dad's birthday next week and I usually make him some sort of football or beer drinking related card, but thought one of the smexies from Slinky Tart would be a good idea. I'm pretty sure he'll appreciate her! LOL

This card is for Crafty Sentiments' For A Man Challenge.

And here she is... I kept the card fairly simply as my dad isn't really a fan of lots of frilly, fluffy stuff on his card, so a bit of twine and a few buttons and she was done really quickly.

Recipe:

Stamps: Miss Smexy from Slinky Tart, Round & Round & Star Prints both from Papertrey Ink

Slinky Tart Valentina

Good morning! This is my very first post for the new Slinky Tart digi stamp company. for those of you who may not know the EU have brought in some new laws for applying VAT to digital purchases and Tamara of The Stamping Chef decided that it was time to have a revamp of some of her images and her store! And we can now officially present the very first brand new Slinky Tart image, Valentina! And boy is she just one sexy lady! Love her!

It's my 18th anniversary with my boyfriend on Thursday this week (can't believe he has put with me and all my crazy notions over the years!) and this image was perfect for his card! I'll let him imagine that I look as beautiful as she does!

I fancied doing a pop up box card for a card and covered it with hearts! You can't see in the photo at all as the camera wouldn't pick it up, but the heart she is sat on is covered with Clear Wink of Stella and her wings have stickles all over them.

And here's the back...
