The Paper Shelter Challenge #618 Dots and/or Stripes

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for this week's challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge is for you to use dots and/or stripes in your project.

For my card I used the gorgeous The Letter digi stamp, which I have used for a new job card for one of my work colleagues, who leaves this Friday to start a new job at a new school. The Paper Shelter Challenge #616 - Make It Sparkle

Good morning everyone and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge is to make it sparkle in honour of Bonfire Night here on November 5th in the UK. For those of you not familiar with this celebration, it is an odd one to say the least.

Basically we have a bonfire traditionally burning a guy on the top to represent Guy Fawkes, who was caught trying to blow up the Houses of Parliament with the Gunpowder Plot hundreds of years ago. People also set off lots of fireworks along side it too. In my house we don't have our own fireworks as the local Italian Community centre always has an amazing display which we can view from the warmth and comfort of our own home!

Anyway, for my card this time, I have used the gorgeous Lunar Dreamer and added lots of glitter card die cuts as well as some glitter ribbon. I also added some clear sparkle gelly roll pen to her dress and as stars, but that hasn't shown up very well in the photo!

This card is also for

Recipe:

Stamps: Lunar Dreamer from The Paper Shelter

Papers: Night of Navy from Stampin' Up, Pale Silver Glitter Card from Crafter's Companion, Summertime (by the sea) Patterned Papers from Maja Design, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

Hearts Quest Fantasy Challenge #10 & Something Else on Saturday #267 Featuring Griffin Winged Magic from Selina Fenech

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from Hearts Quest Fantasy. As always the challenge is an Anything Fantasy Goes and the added optional theme this time is to use a griffin image.

The only griffin stamp I have is a small Lawn Fawn one, so I headed over to Etsy and found this stunning image from Selina Fenech, Griffin Winged Magic. I loved colouring this one up, but it got a little fiddly cutting him out! As the image was so big and busy, I kept the rest of the card simple.

I used one of my new shaker dies and lots of shaker pieces on this one - love me a shaker, but always find them a bit time consuming. I do love the final result though, so definitely worth the effort!

Good morning everyone and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge is to include an animal, great or small on your project or card. You could include an image of just an animal or an animal with a human character as well.

For my card, I have chosen the adorable Cloudcrest Dragon and used one of my favourite dragon colour combos - teal and purple! I kept this one fairly simple so the dragon could take the centre stage, just adding some shimmer to his horns and wing.

The Paper Shelter Challenge #610 - Three of Something

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge is for you to use three of something. It could be 3 characters/stamps, 3 colours, 3 patterned papers, 3 embellishments, 3 die cuts and so on.

For my card, I used the gorgeous Sunshine and for my element of 3, I added 3 flowers as my embellishments. I tried to stick to three colours on my image, but then realised her hair colour made it 4. Same with the dies I used and colours in my patterned papers! So hard for me to stick with just 3 things!

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for this month's challenge from Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenge Blog. This month, as always, our challenge is Anything Fantasy Goes, but the optional twist this time, is to include Pegasus or winged horse on your card.

For my card, I used this adorable Pegasus digi stamp from Faery Ink, but it might not be available any more as Amanda has changed her store around on Etsy. I have had this one for ages from when I was on her design team years ago!

I did print the image a bit too big to be honest, but it still kind of works! I went for a pastel pink and purple combo and then added some cloud border die cuts behind a frame for her to stand on!

Recipe:

Good afternoon and welcome to my Dt inspiration post for Ink 'n' Splatter. This week I am showing this adorable dragon from the Clubby Dragons stamp set, which is one of my favourite sets. I just love dragons and these ones are just such cuties!

Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenge #7 Anything Goes with Optional Theme of Elves

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenge. This month our challenge is, as always, anything fantasy goes, but the optional theme (for extra bragging rights) is to use elves on your card or project.

For my card, I went for these cute baking elves, Sugar and Spice from Sweet November Stamps, showing each stage of the baking process before the cute elf at the end gets to eat her little gingerbread person. I didn't want to use traditional colours and went for this blue, pink and grey combo and I quite like how it came out.
