Courtland Robert Mead (born April 19th, 1987) is an American actor. He is the voice of Gus Griswald from Recess.
His first official episode as Gus was "The Experiment", as Ryan O'Donohue played him in the initial airing of "The New Kid". For all reruns of "The New Kid", Courtland Mead dubbed over his lines.
He is also famous for playing Danny Torrance in the 1997 miniseries version of The Shining, Uh-Huh in The Little Rascals (Film), Lloyd Nebulon in Lloyd in Space, and Ned Needlemeyer in Nightmare Ned. He was also the fourth voice of Flounder from The Little Mermaid, voicing him for various toys in the late 1990s and the CD-ROM, Ariel's Story Studio.
Courtland Mead was the youngest of the original cast (Before any recasting to certain characters), being nine when recording began in 1996.
In 1999, he won a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Voice-Over in a Feature or TV: Best Young Actor.
