Dodongo's Cavern is a location in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and the game's second dungeon. It is a large mine constructed by the Gorons who live just up the mountain, and come down to the cave for rocks, their food. They will not eat rocks from anywhere else, as the Dodongo's Cavern is filled with "Gourmet" rocks that they have become accustomed to eating. Ganondorf blocked off the entrance to the cave before the game began, so the Gorons can't get in. When Link gets to them, they are almost dying of hunger. Link must find the Goron Elder, Darunia, by playing Zelda's Lullaby to get into his room, and then play Saria's Song for him. Darunia then grants Link the Goron Bracelet so he can lift bomb flowers.

To enter the cavern, Link must throw a Bomb Flower from the cliff and blow up the rock blocking the cavern, then you can walk right in. Once you walk into the cave, you find yourself in an infested cavern filled with all kinds of different enemies, puzzles and traps.
