The Operative (known as The Herald in HITMAN™) is a target challenge to achieve in the Situs Inversus mission in Hokkaido.

To accomplish the challenge, Agent 47 must assassinate Erich Soders.

In HITMAN™, this challenge was erroneously used as Yuki Yamazaki's target challenge, since it is Soders and not Yamazaki who is a regular operative of Providence. This was fixed in HITMAN™ 2.
