The East Barrens are a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.(BotWBreath of the Wild | TotKTears of the Kingdom)[1][2]

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

The East Barrens are located in the Gerudo Desert. The Gerudo, Pokki, can be seen collapsed near the entrance to the Misae Suma Shrine in the East Barrens, inadvertently blocking entry to the Ancient Shrine. Upon speaking to Pokki, he will be tasked with the Shrine Quest, "The Perfect Drink".

Tears of the Kingdom

The East Barrens are plagued with Sinkholes in Tears of the Kingdom.
