Bow Moblins,(TMC)[1] also known as Moblin Archers,(NL)[name reference needed] are recurring Enemies in The Legend of Zelda series. They are a variant of Moblins that carry a Bow and shoot Arrows. Bow Moblins go unnamed in Four Swords.
Characteristics[]
Four Swords[]
In Four Swords, Bow Moblins carry Bows with which they launch Arrows. Whenever they see one of the Links, they will launch one or two Arrows in their direction. It is possible to block their Arrows with the Shield. Since they do not guard themselves, they can be attacked by any means from any direction. The Boomerang can be used to stun them. Bow Moblins tend to appear in groups, and appear in the Sea of Trees and Vaati's Palace. In Four Swords Anniversary Edition, they also appear in the Realm of Memories and the Hero's Trial.
The Minish Cap[]

In The Minish Cap, Bow Moblins appear identically to those in Four Swords. They shoot Arrows at Link whenever he is within sight. They appear in the Western Wood and the Palace of Winds. Blue-colored Bow Moblins also appear in Dark Hyrule Castle. These Bow Moblins are functionally identical as the ordinary brown variety. According to the Swordsman Newsletter, defeating them is a good source of income; however, this is not necessarily true.[2]
A Bow Moblin disguised as the Monster Lady invades Percy's House while he is away. She tells Link not to light the torches, and doing so reveals her true form. The Moblin gives Link 50 Rupees not to tell anyone.[3]
Other Appearances[]
Nintendo Land[]
Moblin Archers are enemies that appear in the Battle Quest attraction in Nintendo Land, bearing the likeness of Moblins and using Bows to attack. They appear in many stages, but only if the Wii U Gamepad is used. They are weak enemies, and take only one Arrow to defeat.
