1K Wordsworth is a popular social media app.
History[]
It is unknown who created the app, but it has been around as far back as August 8, 2016, when Psimon was spotted photobombing a photo posted on the app, taken by a guest attending the Goode World Studios classic movie festival.[1]
2018[]
|
Angel O'Day posted a selfie with Garfield Logan in gorilla shape, after he intercepted a man that tried to steal her purse. Over the next two days, the picture accrued 16 million likes.[2] Twelve days later, it had 52.1 million likes[3] and by December 04 it reached 160 million.[4]
|
The M-HYC account posted a picture of Beast Boy, Kid Flash and Blue Beetle, after they saved the meta-teens and Perdita from Onslaught. By December 4, the photo had 16 million re-posts. Celia Windward also posted a photo of Beast Boy and Perdita taken during that event.[4]
2019[]
|
Beast Boy found a post ostensibly by a girl in Dublin of photo of a MONQI. He did not know it was planted by Oracle to lead the Outsiders onto a mission for the "Anti-Light".
Later that day, Wonder Girl posted a photo of herself, her mother, El Dorado and his father, which was picked up on The G. Gordon Godfrey Show to counter Lex Luthor's assertion that the Outsiders' parents did not support them.[5]
|
Lex Luthor monitored 1K Wordsworth's trending stats to see #InfinityInc's progress versus #WeAreAllOutsiders.[6]
|
Following Infinity, Inc.'s staged fight with Killer Frost, they out-trended the Outsiders, to Luthor's satisfaction.[6]
A February 15 post about Lex Luthor's stance on the Markovian coup attempt garnered 1.6 million likes.[7]
2020[]
In September, there was a 1K Wordsworth billboard at Planet Circle in Metropolis.[8]

Background information[]
- There have been several social media sites in DC Comics, treated with little consistency. These include Twitterati, ViewTube, DCU Book and Pixtagraph. "1K Wordsworth" seems to be a reference to the adage "a picture is worth a thousand words", suggesting it is primarily an image sharing site.
