This page contains the policies and guidelines by which users of Yoshi Wiki are expected to follow.
Yoshi Wiki generally follows the Community Guidelines and takes Fandom's Terms of Use into consideration. These are very broad guidelines, and include:
- Observe civil behavior; do not argue, insult, threaten, harass, purposefully offend, or disrespect users or their opinions.
- Respect the staff when they ask you to stop doing something harmful or disruptive.
- Don't use profanity. Censoring vulgar words is not acceptable on the wiki either.
- Vandalism and off-topic edits will be undone with the account responsible immediately blocked.
- As per Fandom's guidelines, you must be 13 years or older to make an account here. If anyone is found to be under the age requirement, they will be blocked until they turn 13.
- No discussion or sharing of sexually explicit content.
- No hate speech, ethnic slurs, or any other form of discrimination or racism.
- No spamming
- No trolling
- No "Fanon" (fanfiction), Fantendo or other fanon wikis are recommended for fan made content.
- Do not impersonate or fabricate false information about other users.
- Do not advertise, free nor paid.
- Do not support or encourage vandalism or breaking of the rules.
- Do not edit war (fighting with another user by repeatedly overriding their contributions).
- Do not edit milk (repeatedly reverting your own edits to cheat the achievement point system).
- Do not Sock-puppet (using multiple accounts) as it causes confusion, and may be used in ways that violate other rules.
- For your own safety, it's recommended that you do not post personal information about yourself, such as your school, home address, etc.
- Remember, anything on this website can be seen by anyone on the internet. So please consider this before expressing yourself to the community.
Failure to abide these rules may result in a block.
