初代『ゼノブレイド』では雪のフィールドは静かな曲だったと思いますが、今作はもっとアップテンポでありつつ、いい感じが出せないかと個人的にトライしてみた曲です。雪のフィールドは、残響感がありつつも近い音もあるイメージがありまして(曲では、ドラムのキックで表現した足音は残響なくタイトなイメージ)、そんな音像もイメージしています。コーラスはブラチスラバ・シンフォニー・クワイアに演奏頂きました。

The original Xenoblade had a very calm theme for the snow area, but this time I wanted to see if I could make a piece that was uptempo, yet still not positive. I feel like snow areas have both echoing sounds and close sounds (in the song, the kick drum represents the tight sound of the footfalls that don’t echo), so I wanted to put that into the stereo soundscape. The choir part was performed by the Bratislava Symphony Choir.
