Hi Spiderone - the acquisition of Chelsea FC is the single most important transaction in the world at the moment. That is why I worked on it. Why is the article of Ricardo Santos Silva proposed for deletion? I was certainly not paid for it (I do not know this people) and the article looks fair. Sources are from very reliable media (BBC, SKY, etc). Please let me know how i can improve the article. PeacefulJack (talk) 16:20, 22 March 2022 (UTC)see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Cabritos Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 20:19, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
- Delete the sale of Chelsea FC may be notable, but it does not appear that Silva is. A Redirect to his company, if that survives AfD, would be fine too. Star Mississippi 16:38, 22 March 2022 (UTC)

- keep the article. I have improved the article, kept the most relevant and added sources. Ricardo Santos Silva is the face of the bid for Chelsea (see BBC or Independent). I am Portuguese and I do not know him. ScottWillis45 (talk) 11:56, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
- Redirect to Aethel Partners. Per WP:NOTINHERITED, he doesn't become notable by bidding for Chelsea. And the Chelsea stuff is already mentioned in the company article, but no evidence he passes WP:GNG by himself. Joseph2302 (talk) 11:59, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @Joseph2302 - I agree he does not become notable by bidding for Chelsea or bidding for Novo Banco. But together with being the owner, Chairman and CEO of the largest private iron ore mine in Europe, he passes WP:GNG ScottWillis45 (talk) 12:03, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
- Still WP:NOTINHERITED applies, which is why he should be redirected to the article about the company. Joseph2302 (talk) 12:27, 23 March 2022 (UTC)

Keep- Ricardo Santos Silva is very clearly notable. Sources independent and reliable. Cabritos (talk) 12:17, 23 March 2022 (UTC)- Above Cabritos "keep" struck, ref Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of Cabritos. – Athaenara ✉ 12:30, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
- Which sources? So far we have:
- [1] doesn't mention him so far as I can see
- [2] says his company is taking over, and has 3 sentences about the company. No coverage of him as a person
- [3] cannot check as behind paywall
- [4] has one sentence about him, is focused on company
- [5] doesn't mention him, not RS either
- [6] about company, he is mentioned in 1 sentence
- [7] about company, he is mentioned in 1 sentence
- [8] about company, he is mentioned in 1 sentence
- [9] about company, he is mentioned in 1 sentence
- None of this is significant coverage about him, which is why he should be redirected to the company article. Joseph2302 (talk) 12:27, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
- Delete. I would agree with Joseph about redirect except I'm afraid I think that should go too. No Great Shaker (talk) 17:08, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
Keep I have added 2 sources with significant coverage about him: one interview to CNBC and one article in the most reputable Portuguese newspaper about him. There are hundreds of articles about him in the Portuguese media. PeacefulJack (talk) 11:07, 24 March 2022 (UTC)see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Cabritos Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 20:20, 26 March 2022 (UTC)- Dear @Behind the moorsI am a representative of Aethel Group and its founders Ricardo Santos Silva and Aba Schubert. Could you please delete the 3 pages. These pages are abusive and should be deleted immediately. Please text me here if you want to discuss this further. Wikipedia does not allow me to include my email. Thank you and best regards Rhead1967 (talk) 16:53, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Not authorized content Rhead1967 (talk) 16:58, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- "Authorized content" does not exist here. How a few properly sourced sentences are abusive is a mystery to me. Note that Rhead1967 is blocked for repeatedly blanking huge amounts of verified content. Drmies (talk) 17:29, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Delete as lacking notability independent of the current activities. Tony Fox (arf!) 17:14, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
Keep - Thanks @Tony Fox. Ricardo Santos Silva is the chairman and CEO of Aethel Mining (please look at the references) and the face of the group. There are also more controversial news (some bank he acquired in Portugal) and I guess this is why they want the pages remove. Ricardo Santos Silva clearly has enough notability - that is why I have created the article. Thanks PeacefulJack (talk) 19:06, 24 March 2022 (UTC)see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Cabritos Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 20:25, 26 March 2022 (UTC)If you look at the news in Portugal, they never say the name of the group or the mine. They say his name. PeacefulJack (talk) 19:08, 24 March 2022 (UTC)see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Cabritos Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 20:25, 26 March 2022 (UTC)- please be aware of WP:BLUDGEON. Redirect to Aethel PartnersDelete per Joseph's source analysis. If Aethel Partners is deleted then please also delete this article. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 20:24, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
- Redirect to Aethel Partners per Joseph2302 analysis. Angad.uday (talk) 19:31, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
- • Keep - I guess this wildness is the company and individual wanting their articles deleted. I am Portuguese and Ricardo is clearly notable. 2A00:23C6:2B10:BC00:8500:3548:6157:5B (talk) 21:15, 27 March 2022 (UTC)

Keep - I am the original PeacefulJack and I am the person that created the article for Aethel and its founders. You obviously should delete the articles if that is the consensus but what is the sense of blocking me? PeacefulJack2 (talk) 16:55, 28 March 2022 (UTC)Sock is blocked. KeepI am Portuguese, Ricardo Santos Silva is a very well known figure and clearly passes notability. I hope my article is good. Thank you and keep the good work! — Preceding unsigned comment added by ScottWillis45 (talk • contribs) 23:17, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
- Please stop duplicate !voting. You have already made a 'keep' commment above this one. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 05:45, 30 March 2022 (UTC)
- Comment Aethel Partners has now been deleted. Though I still believe that Aethel Mining would be a sensible redirect, as it's one of the companies he part owns. Joseph2302 (talk) 14:24, 30 March 2022 (UTC)
- Delete. It should be speedily deleted per {{db-g11}} as unambiguous promotion and advertising. It was inflicted upon Wikipedia by UPEs who have since been blocked as sockpuppets (see User talk:PeacefulJack, User talk:Grahambos, and User talk:Rhead1967 for more about that). – Athaenara ✉ 10:30, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
- Strong Delete Seems to be a mix of routine coverage of this type of article. Of the first six references, not one is secondary specific to him as a person. It is the usual framework article with no effective sources. scope_creepTalk 18:54, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
