The result was delete. Consensus seems to be that there are not enough reliable secondary sources to establish notability. NW (Talk) 15:33, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
AfDs for this article:
- An Untitled Story (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (delete) – (View log)
- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
The only independent reference given is a short description at the Indie Games Blog. This is not significant enough to pass the general notability guidelines (WP:N). Marasmusine (talk) 09:38, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Strong Keep there are plenty of sources for those willing to edit, just google it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.78.148.145 (talk) 18:59, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- If you can find such sources, it would surely benefit us for you to link us the sources so we can improve this article. ♥ichi 00:03, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete – I did search, and I cannot find anything in reliable secondary sources that can provide any significant coverage establishing any notability of this game. Postings by users on Internet forums are self-published and not considered reliable. Also, while this normally falls under the speedy deletion criteria for recreation of deleted material, I'm not going to pursue that at this time in order to gauge a better consensus at this current AFD (the participation in the previous one was small at best) and that there is another AFD on a similar game. - Delete. Why is this the second nomination, when the first one resulted in delete? Was this deleted and recreated? ~ Eidako (talk) 15:15, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- The current, recreated revision is different to the deleted 2007 article: this is not a repost. Marasmusine (talk) 15:51, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- That and the consensus wasn't very good in the last one. Otherwise, I would have tagged as G4 right on the spot. MuZemikeUse my VG templates! 18:16, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep Great amount of references on the page and I bet we could find even more, "an untitled story game" has about 604,000 Google results. Also, games on Miniclip I think has no notibility because it's just a random flash game but something like Heli Attack has their own article that should meet or exceed Wikipedia's notibility rule. If this page gets deleted it's likely the page will come back soon. Jeremjay24 msg 12:38, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- All but one of the references are useless for verifiability, so if you can actually link to some of your Google results, that might be helpful. I get closer to 512 hits, by the way. What's the relevance of Miniclip? Marasmusine (talk) 14:55, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Miniclip is a game with tons of flash games. However, Heli Attack (one of the games) has an article and it's just like the game we're talking about. It's a game made by Game Maker 7. It should barely meet Wikipedia's notibility guideline. Jeremjay24 msg 00:20, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Well, I'm sure Heli Attack can be dealt with some other time. It's inclusion can't be used as a keep argument for Untold Story. Any luck with those references? Marasmusine (talk) 08:35, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- You must not have done too thorough of a search if you Googled "An Untold Story". --Wheel² (talk) 18:03, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I Dogpiled it and I easily found a few good references. Jeremjay24 msg 14:01, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Good to hear. Can you provide links to some please? Marasmusine (talk) 17:25, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- What do people think of JayIsGames.com? Marasmusine (talk) 17:29, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Iffy at best as far as reliability is concerned. I haven't been able to find anything that shows that they display a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. It also doesn't help that half their pages about their site have been "under construction" for ages, now. I can't tell that they have some sort of editorial staff, if they even have a staff, or if it's one of those "anybody can walk in and write a review or walkthough" type of set-up.
