the title says it all. SIX YEARS i think was a good run, but i don't feel productive anymore and "in high wiki-spirits" so to speak. More at WP:FOOTY if you wish to read.
True to myself and my legendary incoherence, will not retire after all, but will 1 - not be with WP:FOOTY anymore; 2 - will not have watchlist anymore. Cheers to you my friend, whistle if you need anything!
Yes, it's 99% definitely him, thanks for noticing! Also I'm glad you stayed with us, you are a blessing to this project. :) Cheers! – Kosm1fent08:41, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
Let's see if we can create an article with the largest title in the history of evar! Huzzah!
Hello Kosmas....how are you???Well i have some questions...how can we change the title of an article??For example, I want to change Jose Holebas to Iosif Cholevas as his real name is that....what do we do???
Greetings, I'm all well. You can move the page by hovering over the arrow on the left of the search box and clicking on "Move". Then you write the new title, a reason and click on "Move page". However I would discourage you from making this move, for the reasons that I explained to another editor a few months ago: User talk:Kosm1fent/Archive 5#Jose Holebas If you still believe that a move should be made, I suggest that you request a move by following the steps listed here. Cheers! – Kosm1fent08:45, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
WikiProject Eurovision Newsletter - December 2012
Your monthly ProjectEurovision newsletter has arrived. Click show to open.
With the festive season a matter of days away and 2012 rapidly drawing to a close, I'd like to take the time to reflect on the last 12 months as a project community, and look ahead to 2013. 2012 witnessed the period when Azerbaijan got to showcase their capital city Baku to the rest of Europe. Preparations for the contest were not the smoothest ever seen, but come the day of the contest everything seemed to have knitted together OK. Concerns over the longevity of the Junior Contest were also raised when the lowest participation ever recorded. Fans worried that the contest would be brought to an abrupt end, however, with 3 new countries debuting the contest went ahead as planned.
The project also seen the start of two new contests, ABU Radio Song Festival and ABU TV Song Festival, which were both staged in the Korean capital of Seoul. The host nation won the first edition of the festival. And so we look ahead to 2013, with Sweden hosting the Eurovision Song Contest for a fifth time, and for the second time in the city of Malmö. Vietnam is expected to host the 2013 ABU TV Song Festival, with the Radio Festival having a year break, which won't be hosted again until 2014 in Australia. Details about the 2013 Junior Eurovision Song Contest are still unknown. As always, be on the look out for potential new members to the project. Post {{subst:EurovisionInvite}} (which will produced this template) on any user page you think is interested to join the WikiProject, to officially invite them to join.
And so I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our project members a Very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
Please can we also remember to keep this article well presented based on the layout that was agreed upon via the Project RfC. If in doubt, check Eurovision Song Contest 2012 as an example. That article is using the new layout format and gained the project it's first GA-class on annual pages. Let's maintain that high standard.
Also remember to communicate with fellow project members via the article talk or Project talk page, as communication is an important tool if we aim to collaborate as part of a team.
Please only add countries who have explicitly stated they will be competing, citing a reliable source. Anything not cited may be removed. If in doubt - ask someone for an opinion!
Ukraine won the tenth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with the song "Nebo" performed by Anastasia Petryk. Twelve countries participated with Albania, Azerbaijan, and Israel making their début.
ABU Radio Song Festival 2014 - It was announced on 11 October 2012 that the 2014 Radio Festival will take place in Australia hosted by radio broadcaster ABC Australia.
As it is too soon to start work on the new article, can we please try and avoid creating one. Unless of course, there's enough information out there that would warrant an early creation.
Please remember to keep checking the project articles that have been flagged up as an alert. Since our last publication the following are listed as alerts:
As I've stated in the correction, Mike is my neighboor. I don't need any kind of sources. He's my source. So please reset the change. Michael Olaitan is part of Veria's Squad since 2010 — Preceding unsigned comment added by PanosBonJovi (talk • contribs) 20:02, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
Well, I thought that the caps made for the Cup counts as well sorry then my mistake. Well what can I say about Nova? I remember that game but I am not totally sure, I think that was Olaitan and not Langlet but if it wasn't Olaitan then it was Kadi (seriously) but regarding this http://www.transfermarkt.de/en/michael-olaitan/bilanz/spieler_179481.html Olaitan was the scorer. But also regarding soccerway he wasn't the scorer. What can I say I don't know... — Preceding unsigned comment added by PanosBonJovi (talk • contribs) 10:38, 3 January 2013 (UTC)

Your monthly ProjectEurovision newsletter has arrived. Click show to open.
A Very Happy New Year to all members of Project Eurovision. I hope you've all had a fabulous festive season, whatever it consisted of. As you will be well aware the 2013 Eurovision season is already in full-swing with some countries already having selected their representatives and/or song. The national selection season will get busier over the next coming weeks, so be on the look out for reliable sources so that we keep the article as up-to-date as possible. Avoid edit warring too, by keeping in regular communication with fellow members of this project, as well as remembering to provide a brief detail of your contributions via the edit summary. Please also remember to check the project article clean-up list below, and help to improve the articles that are a part of our project.
As always, be on the look out for potential new members to the project. Post {{subst:EurovisionInvite}} (which will produced this template) on any user page you think is interested to join the WikiProject, to officially invite them to join.
Here's to a prosperous 2013, and I look forward to working with you all in the coming months. Happy editing!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Andreas Vasilogiannis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Patra (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
In a related note, since i found this address in Paulo Machado's article, another "user" wrote this guy plays as a...CENTER FORWARD!! Is this just good old vandalism or do these people know what they're doing?
The Eurovision season is in full-swing, with many national selections taking place. Be on the look out for reliable sources and news content that may be used to keep the 2013 article as up to date as possible. There are also a couple of project discussions taking place at WT:ESC, it would be helpful if as many of the project members participated in them. Afterall it is your contributions that helps to keep this project alive. You have a voice, use it. Please could we also help to improve the articles listed below, they vary from stub articles that require expansion, to general tidy-up and additional sources required.

And finally the ABU Radio Song Festival 2012 article has been awarded GA Class making it the project's second annual article to have been awarded this accolade. Congratulations to all those who helped to contribute to the article. Happy editing!

Eurovision-fever is vast upon us with all songs and artists having already been selected, and the contest itself is just around the corner. So we as a collective need to be as vigilant as possible when it comes to content being updated to respective articles connected to Malmö 2013. Please remember to use citations to reliable sources on everything. If in doubt, then use the article talk page and/or the project talk page for open discussion.
The project has yet again gained another accolade on an annual article with the ABU TV Song Festival 2012 receiving GA classification. That is now 3 within a year, with the first being Eurovision Song Contest 2012 back in July last year, and ABU Radio Song Festival 2012 being the second last month. Congratulations once again to everyone who has helped to contribute to those respective articles. Now that we're gaining high accolades, let's see if we can maintain that by continuing to work as a team.

With less than a month to go until we find out who is the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013, the article itself is already looking impressive and is written with such broad scope and covering almost every piece of news in an encyclopaedic style of course. The show hasn't even started and the article is looking very much like a GA-class article. Well done everyone for helping to maintain the high standards of editing on articles as well as engaging in open discussion via the talk pages. Hopefully this should be helping to increase team moral with the project - keep up the good work folks! The ABU have announced the host city for the ABU TV Song Festival 2013 which is due to take place on 26 October 2013. Please could everyone keep a look out across the worldwide web for any news on the festival itself and update the article accordingly.
On a different note, if anyone is feeling a little bit bored and looking for things to do, then why not help to improve the articles listed below, they vary from stub articles that require expansion, to general tidy-up and additional sources required. This article is coming along very nicely. Very impressed that members are adhering to the layout style and working cooperatively and peacefully as a team. Already the article is looking like a promising GA classification similar to Eurovision Song Contest 2012, and the contest hasn't even begun. Continue with the good work.
The contest itself begins next month, so please keep an eye out for any latest news that may be relevant for inclusion to the article. If in doubt, then open up a new discussion thread either at Talk:Eurovision Song Contest 2013 or the Project talk page, as communication is an important tool if we aim to collaborate as part of a team.

need your priceless help mate! Can you read that last ref in Greek and tell me what it says overall? All i know is Duscher is retired as we speak, maybe he could have signed for Veria, but he's done playing now!
Also, gotta love the POV of football fans (player signed for Veria who "...is a financially stable team")! Cheers, keep it up --AL (talk) 18:11, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
While we're at it, can you provide translations for the ref about his move to Enosis Neon and the Veria one (assuming the latter one stays and we don't remove it for being false)? Thanks in advance my friend, as always --AL (talk) 19:15, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
Hey AL! The link currently in the article says that Duscher had been "close" to sign for Veria. He signed on 2 February [2] and on 9 February he complained about him not featuring in his manager's plans xD [3]. Regardless, he was a member of the squad but didn't play in any league match for Veria [4] and, despite looking hard, I didn't find any article reporting he left Veria. As for the POV bid in the article... not only is it inaccuare, but also irrelevant. xD Cheers. – Kosm1fent19:54, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
Thank you a million times! Found a reference for his retirement, article is getting better. One last favour: can you please translate "Η παρουσίαση των νέων παικτών " so i put in Duscher's piece? I'll pay you when i can :) --AL (talk) 21:02, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
Well we have a winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013, and the 2014 article is already up and running. However, the work on the 2013 edition is still not complete. Over the next few weeks many editors will be doing the final clean-up operation on the article, and we hope to achieve yet another GA classification on the article in the coming months. We will of course keep you all updated of the progress via the newsletter.
But if you are already starting to get Eurovision withdrawal symptoms, then don't panic. We have the ABU TV Song Festival in Vietnam to look forward to, as well as the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev. Your contributions to both of these articles are gratefully appreciated. Remember it is teamwork collaborations that help to make this project a success.

In what is becoming a regularity with new Eurovision articles, they are potential subjects to vandalism, so be on guard and revert any vandalistic edits.
Also make sure you only add verified content to the article, including countries that have confirmed.
Avoid using the term "possible debut", "possible return", and "possible withdrawal". The term possible makes us sound speculative and is prohibited per Crystal Ball guidelines. Any such information should be added to the "Other countries" section, with a citation for verifiability.

Another month has gone by and with plenty of ups and downs within this project. An RfC has been rebooted on the project talk page (see Project Alerts below for more details). The OGAE articles are undergoing a complete rewrite to make these articles look more presentable and give more encyclopaedic value to them. They were in a disastrous and neglected state previously, so it is about time they got some well needed TLC treatment given to them all. Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is looking near completed, and in preparation for a GA-class submission. A huge thank you to all those who have contributed on that article in the last 12 months - some WikiLove to everyone for your continuous teamwork.

There is a RFC taking place on the project talk page which could do with as many members contributing to it. Your say will help to achieve consensus on how '[Country]' in the Eurovision Song Contest articles should be stylised and written more encyclopaedically for the general audience and not just for the average ESC-fan. Please KEEP IT CIVIL!!!
Eurovision Song Contest 2013 will shortly be going through the annual process of a post-Contest tidy-up, in preparation for a GA-class submission. We will keep you posted of that process in due course.
OGAE and other articles relating to the organisation are going through an extensive rewriting exercise. Some of the article were in a very poor state, with the lead section of OGAE being an exact word-for-word copy of the "about us" section of OGAE's Facebook page. This was a violation of WP:COPYVIO, and has now been averted thanks to Wesley's hard work fixing the articles.

Hi there man (you're strangely absent, hope all's fine by you),
can you help me in this player's article? I would like for the translation of the ref of his move to Panthrakikos, also i can't seem to copy/paste the original title :(
Really annoying your countryman User:Tsobek in this guy's article, continues to add flags in infobox and now it's much much more serious, removes references in storyline!
And finally, the newsdesk are looking to recruit a couple of project volunteers to assist in compiling the monthly newsletters, as one of the co-ordinators has taken an indefinite period of time away from Wikipedia due to personal reasons. For more details see here.
