The Speckerman Recurrence

I redirected The Speckerman Recurrence because, once the unsourced, original research and non-notable trivia is removed, the article becomes essentially a plot-only description, which fails WP:PLOT. The references in the article do not establish notability and the only ratings figure is already in the season article, so it just reproduces information that is already available in another, pre-existing article. Without significant additional information that establishes notability the article should not exist. --AussieLegend (talk) 12:36, 1 February 2012 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as Flat 2, 12 Arbour Road, London, England, is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Flat 2, 12 Arbour Road, London, England. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Fictional addresses do not get articles. Creating unworthy articles like this is a waste of other editors' time. Your contributed article, The Loser List: Revenge of the Loser

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, The Loser List: Revenge of the Loser. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - The Loser List (series). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at The Loser List (series) - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. DGG ( talk ) 04:34, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

the above is the formal notice, generated by the program. But speaking more personally, as I would prefer: The book may possibly become a best seller, but until it does, I think it would be covered well enough in the main article. I don't even think there should be a cross-referencem until it gets published; then one would be appropriate. For the first book in the series, I merged the plot contents into the main article and changed it to a redirect. The principle I go by is that it is better to have one strong article than 3 very weak ones. If you know of any reviews for them published in references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases, then add links to them--that's what's needed in an article on a book; that's what's of use to the reader. I hope you agree. DGG ( talk ) 04:43, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

Removing Speedy at Logopedia

Hi TBrandley, you recently removed a deletion tag from Logopedia. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove speedy deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the tag. Although the deletion proposal may be incorrect, removing the tag is not the correct way for you to contest the deletion, even if you are more experienced than the nominator. Instead, please use the talk page to explain why the page should not be deleted. Remember to be patient, there is no harm in waiting for another experienced user to review the deletion and judge what the right course of action is. As you are involved, and therefore potentially biased, you should refrain from doing this yourself. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 00:20, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

Unsourced material

Do not restore unsourced material to articles, as you did here. Also, do not revert other editors changes without providing an edit summary.—Kww(talk) 17:53, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Fox's Animation Domination shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Logical Fuzz (talk) 20:15, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

The article List of television series notable for positive reception has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no indication of notability. Random collection of TV series.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 20:33, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article List of television series notable for positive reception is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of a day for edit warring, as you did at Fox's Animation Domination. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Salvio Let's talk about it! 21:04, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Cut and paste moves

Please do not perform cut and paste moves, as you have with Template:Infobox programming block, it splits the page history, which is highly undesirable. If a redirect is preventing an uncontroversial move, you can tag it for speedy deletion with the {{db-move}} template. I have listed the page at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen, which will call an administrator to fix the issue, if there are other cut and paste moves you have preformed, please list them there as well. Thanks, 117Avenue (talk) 04:57, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

Help:WikiProject

I have been bold and changed your new page Help:WikiProject into a redirect to Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Guide. That's the main page for the WikiProject help resources. What do you think? -- John of Reading (talk) 07:19, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/TBrandley for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. JayJayTalk to me 21:25, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Fox's Animation Domination. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Don't source to promotional Facebook pages, and especially not Wikipedia articles. And don't synthesize theories about programming directions, especially in regards to the Saturday block. thank you. Nate (chatter) 03:48, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
