I am a historian, educator and author. My primary areas of interest are the Middle East, Central Asia, the Fertile Crescent, the Silk Road, Biblical archaeology, New Testament scholarship and the Golden Age of Islam. I work primarily in education as a guest lecturer and non-tenure-track adjunct. I also work as a historical consultant on various media projects/documentaries. I worked for many years as a local journalist, mainly covering high school sports and local crime/court reporting. I am also in the process of making a number of documentaries related to archaeology and history.
Aside from history/scholastic pursuits, some of my main hobbies include bushcraft, bow-hunting, fishing, collecting swords, archery, gardening and grilling/smoking meats.

This is my only current Wikipedia account. I had an account almost 25 years ago when I was around 14, but I have long-since forgotten my username or password. I only made a few minor edits for grammar anyways.
