The Valley is an American reality television series which premiered on Bravo on March 19, 2024.[2] Developed as the fourth spin-off from Vanderpump Rules.[1] The series follows five couples who are "taking a shot at adulting."[3]

Overview

The Valley was first announced by Bravo on January 17, 2024, during the premiere party for the 11th season of Vanderpump Rules.[3] Lisa Vanderpump serves as an executive producer, with 32 Flavors Entertainment, Haymaker East and Evolution Media attached as the production companies.[4]

The series is the fourth spin-off from Vanderpump Rules; the eighth episode in the 11th season serves as a cross-over preview to The Valley.[5]

Season 1

The first season was filmed July - September 16, 2023. Cameras went back up in March 2024 following the news of Jax and Brittany's separation. [6][7][8]

The full cast for the first season was announced and a teaser for the season was released on January 17, 2024.[3] An extended first look was released on February 27[9] and the premiere date was announced as March 19, 2024.[10][11]

The first season premiered on Bravo on March 19 and the series was broadcast through June 4, 2024. The original cast consist of: Brittany Cartwright, Jax Taylor, Kristen Doute, Luke Broderick, Danny Booko, Nia Booko, Janet Caperna, Jason Caperna, Jesse and Michelle Lally. Jasmine Goode and Zack Wickham joined the cast in a recurring capacity. Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, and Tom Schwartz made guest appearances.[12][3] [13][14]

In May 2024, the series was renewed for a second season, with the entire cast from the first season returning.[15]

  • Janet Caperna: wife to Jason,a former executive assistant and co-host of the Scheananigans podcast with Vanderpump Rules alum Scheana, mother to Cameron[25][26]
  • Jason Caperna: husband to Janet,an attorney with Acumen Law, LLP, father to Cameron[27][28]
  • Jesse Lally: a luxury real estate broker, father of Isabella, divorced from Michelle[29][30]
  • Michelle Saniei: a luxury real estate broker, mother of Isabella, divorced from Jesse[31][32]

Reception

The Valley's first episode was Bravo's most watched series premiere in nearly ten years. The season premiere gathered 2.8 million viewers in seven days.[38]
