The Shahed 136 has a bigger page due to the available published information on it, yet the two drones are extremely similar, especially over the internet. I propose the two pages be merged, turning the 136 page into Shahed Suicide Drones. This will allow provisions for the Arrash to be included as well, which may not have voluminous information available like the 136. Anthropophoca (talk) 02:01, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - Per WP:NAIR, "An aircraft is generally notable if it is verifiably — through reliable sources — a distinct 'type'." I see no reason to merge articles on different aircraft types. Perhaps a list article with links to the individual types would be a good alternative to merging. - ZLEAT\C16:09, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That's still not a very good reason to merge it with Shahed 136. Shahed 136 is a notable topic with a decently sized article, so merging it into a list does not make much sense. As far as we know, there is no relation between the Shahed 131 and 136 other than basic layout and role, so merging the two wouldn't make much sense from that perspective either. As a wise Wikipedian once said, do not confuse stub status with non-notability. - ZLEAT\C02:01, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose unless reliable sources are found showing that the aircraft is manufactured by HESA. Shahed Aviation is a producer of drones and if they produce this then the article is correctly named already. Streamline8988 (talk) 21:38, 4 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose as above. "Shahed" is developer/manufacturer and "131" is manufacturer's designation. So "Shahed 131" is as valid article name as "Boeing 737". It's not a name like "Witness/shahid 131", as normal multiple-use UAVs and even manned helicopters are produced under same brand. Trasheater Midtier🐉(talk) 14:04, 11 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
