Sue Ellen "Suzy" Hansen (born 1979) is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly in the 2021 Nova Scotia general election.[3] She represents the riding of Halifax Needham as a member of the Nova Scotia New Democratic Party.

As of September 22, 2024, Hansen serves as the Third Party spokesperson for Education and Early Childhood Development, Housing, African Nova Scotian Affairs, Office of Equity & Anti-Racism Initiatives, Immigration, Status of Women, Justice, Human Rights Commission, Elections NS, and Accessibility Act. She also serves as the Caucus Chair of the Third Party.

Prior to her election, Hansen was a former board member of the Halifax Regional School Board and other boards and an active volunteer.[4] She was also one of four Black Canadians elected to the Nova Scotia legislature in 2021.[3]
