Pierre-Sylvain Filliozat (15 February 1936 – 28 December 2024) was a French scholar of Sanskrit.[1][2]
His father was Dr. Jean Filliozat.[2] Pierre -Sylvain was married to Vasundara Kavali Filliozat, a Karnataka-based scholar who worked on Hampi and wrote books. Filliozat died in Paris on 28 December 2024, at the age of 88.[3]
