Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands's Stuart Diamond Tiara

Creation: In 1897 by Eduard Schürmann & Co. using the 39.75 carat, blue-green, Stuart Diamond and diamonds from Queen Emma's diamond parure.  The tiara can be worn in several different configurations with or without the Stuart Diamond.  The diamonds removed from the tiara can be worn as earrings or pendants.

Princess Andrée Aga Khan's Lotus Halo Tiara

Creation:  This tiara was made by Cartier in 1934.  The lower zig-zag portion may be removed and worn as a bandeau.

Materials: diamonds set in platinum

Provenance: 
  1. Princess Andrée Aga Khan née Andrée Joséphine Carron
  2. Prince Sadruddin Aga Khan; inherited from his mother in 1976
  3. unknown owner; sold at Christie's in 1988 with the proceeds going to the Bellerive Foundation
