Biography

  • Falling In Reverse is a rock band hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, United States who formed in 2008. The band is the brainchild of ex-Escape The Fate frontman Ronnie Radke, and they have released three albums since their debut in 2011.

Radke first started conceptualising the band while serving out his prison sentence for a parole violation concerning his involvement in the fatal shooting of the 18 year old Michael Cook. He went into prison as the lead singer of post-hardcore godheads Escape The Fate, but he was booted from the band as a result of his incarceration. After ruminating about what to do next, he contacted the original line up of the band from his cell and during visiting hours, he would meet up with the new members one by one and discuss their ideas for the band. While he wasn’t in contact with them he spent the rest of his time writing, and by the time he was released in December 2010, he was ready to go public with his new band.

The rest of the band had already been recording “The Drug In Me Is You” since January of that year when Radke was released, and the album was released in July the following year. The album was a commercial success, charting at number 19 on the Billboard 200 and the band saw off the remaining year and a half of the campaign touring the world. 2013 saw the band rise in notoriety with the album “Fashionably Late”, which saw the group experiment with styles lifted from hip-hop and chart pop. Say what you want about Rappin’ Ronnie Radke, but there are few people around that can command as much attention, good or bad, as he can. That takes a skill that few others share, and it makes Falling In Reverse ones to watch, for sure.

Live reviews

  • I believe that maybe we all know about some of Ronnie Radke's maybe...less fortunate fans, that were in the crowds watching their shows back in the day. (The time he threw the mic stand) But Falling in Reverse and Ronnie have come a long way! The band itself plays flawlessly. They sound very much like the albums they've slaved to create. Each member genuinely looks like they're having the time of their life onstage. Ronnie has so many crazy mannerisms that make him who he is. He acts goofy and laughs at himself and he talks to the fans. They make sure to play all the hits and classics while also giving you a taste of the new works of art. When I attended the Bury The Hatchet tour FIR reunited with Escape the Fate which was maybe the best thing to ever have happened! Craig Mabbit of ETF did a fantastic job as well and when they came together to sing "Not Good Enough For The Truth In Cliche" I just about died. I recorded the entire song on my phone but when I got home to watch it it was deleted somehow and I again died. I love these guys and everything they do. They've done a great job in the recent years. I'm so glad the "buried the hatchet."

  • First a huge thanks to SongKick, I am able to track my favorite artists and plan all the things I want to see.

FIR was INCREDIBLE - Ice Nine Kills were terrific as an opening band - full of energy and incredible stage antics.

FIR were amazing. It was beyond belief how much energy Ronnie Radke gives to the performance, and even more how his band work their guts out to deliver a high-power, high-energy show.

They engaged the audience and made the whole atmosphere memorable.

A HUGE shout out to the unsung heroes of showbiz - the roadies, security, engineers and merch guys. They take care of the operations and the band. The merch guy noticed my daughter wearing a Black Veil Brides shirt and he said the drummer was playing for FIR last night. She FLIPPED out as CC is her hero and they share a birthday which they just celebrated. Merch Man somehow got a pair of drumstick and FOUND MY DAUGHTER in the crowd to give them to her.

She was blown away as this was what she wanted for her 16th birthday and everyone brought their A game to Houston. BRAVO to everyone. See this band, buy their merch, you'll rock harder than you have in ages.

  • In the early days of Falling In Reverse, Ronnie Radke and his accompanying musicians were known for having one of the most raucous and unpredictable live shows on the circuits. However fast forward five years and a number of lineup changes, the band is now a tight, succinct rock outfit.

Their fans have stuck by the band through thick and thin and as the cheers lift at the same time as the stage lights, they are rewarded for their loyalty with a perfect rendition of 'Sink Or Swim'. This high quality remains throughout as the boys tear through a setlist made up of a mixture of their first two much loved albums.

Although the shows aren't quite as unpredictable, they are still incredibly exciting and Ronnie knows how to work his crowd yet he does it more of a professional way. He clearly enjoys playing fan favourites such as 'Fashionably Late' and 'Alone' yet it is the huge singalong to 'The Drug In Me Is You' that moves both the band and audience and finishes a great show.

  • The Falling in Reverse show at The Worcester Palladium on May 4, 2019 was KICK ASS!!!! Loved every minute of it, from opening acts- New Years Day,From Ashes To New and Ice Nine Kills to the headliner Falling In Reverse. They all rocked the house! Ronnie and the crew made my daughter's first rock/metal concert the best ever.(She is 13) The crowd surfing during the show was insane!! The security earned their checks that night. If you haven't seen Falling in Reverse or any of the opening bands yet....WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!

  • I never really listened to Falling in Reverse but, I like their new album Coming Home. I never listened to Escape the Fate either. All I can say is Ronnie has a wide range of talent and he does what he wants. He can rap, sing, and do screamo. He is also funny on stage. He threw pizza and chips in the audience and the audience threw some pizza back. I'd say if you like more than one genre then you'll like Falling in Reverse.

  • Amazing venue, incredible sound and loads of almost electric like energy in the audience. Half the band was sick though so they barely played any of their songs and set was cut super short. Was a real shame. Had been looking forward to seeing them for the past 3 months, but I guess there is nothing you can do about that. Staff at the venue was extremely friendly and helpful.

  • the opening band (ghost town) put on a great show. the first set Falling In Reverse did was Escape the Fate songs which was amazing. Then the next and last set they did was their own Falling In Reverse songs which was fantastic. The lead singer (Ronnie Radke) even noticed the drawing I made for him and said "oh wow that's good" and gave me thumbs up!

  • THIS. WAS. INCREDIBLE.

ronnie is such a fantastic entertainer with his hilarious dance moves and interaction with the crowd. I was roaring along to all of their songs like a lion and did a bit too much headbangin' (neck is really sore), but it was all worth it!!! such an amazing night for anyone who loves a really loud, heavy performance!

  • It was awesome to say the least like we got to hear a new song and that was fun my ears are still ringing. We also got to hear some amazing songs by them so that was fun. All through their part of the show Ronnie was taking off a shirt or jacket. First his jacket then his shirt. I'm sure multiple fan girls loved that. So that's my review.
