A Gold Mini Goomba is a Mini Goomba under the effects of a Gold Ring in New Super Mario Bros. 2. Similar to other Gold Goomba variants in the game, defeating it grants the player some coins. They mainly appear in the Gold Mushroom Pack's second course. However, they can also be rarely be seen in the main story, in World 4-1 and 5-3.
Unlike most of other gold variants in New Super Mario Bros. 2, Gold Mini Goombas are not mentioned in the game's Japanese guidebook[1] or the Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia.[2] The only other enemy to have this distinction is Gold Big Piranha Plant.
