This started off so well, I loved the set up - bad boy Jacob Riley, all sex, drugs and out of control behavior, meets too good Ethan and both of their lives change. Then it began to move into noble failure category, as the writing bogged down and it all became too obvious, everything spelt out, no subtlety or charm. But sadly, by the end it was wall banger territory for me with a totally contrived misunderstanding, made worse by foolish behavior and then melodrama. So while this had good moments, it didn't work for me. It was not well written, the sentences just didn't sing; and then all the secondary characters were so good, with everyone just being too sweet and understanding, and then added to that, I hated the ending - so this won't show more be a reread for me. show less
