Wonderful book!! great chzracters, wonderful creative plot---a real page turned!! I want to read Mr. Kahn second book!

Great. fun read! Nothing is what is seems and the characters are very well constructed! Hope Mr. Carpenter is writing more!!

The Phoenix: Firestorm by Joseph Allen

The book was a delight! It contains a delicious recipe for wonderful adventures. It contains some of good and evil, war and peace, reality and fable, mystery and intrigue, morals and fantasy, love and romance, humor and serious. During this encounter I found my mind reviewing current topics of national problems in relationship to the lessons imparted and taught in this novel.

The characters while perhaps a little lacking in some depth are engaging and fun...I found I was caring about them and wanting them to succeed in their trials and tribulations. The main character, Ammon, is followed on a life's growing and changing discovery. He has the beginnings of being developed into a wonderful hero. I hope that Mr. Allen plans to write more of the tales given to him by the Storyteller.

At last a Self Help book with a lot of common sense and no mysterious jargon. This is full of up-beat, positive out looks on life that will help you feel better about the world and yourself! The theory is quite simple concerning Law of Attraction and Universal Truths. Well done and comprehensive.
