I received this book via Early Reviewers. I found this book very helpful and resourceful. As a teacher in today's classroom, it is imperative to incorporate technology into lessons. Children of all types respond and focus better using various technologies. This book points you in the right direction.

I received this book via Early Reviewers. As with any teacher resource book, there are lessons that you can pick and choose to easily fit into your classroom. They are neatly laid out and easy to understand with pages you can copy for your class.

I received this book via Early Reviewers. As a fifth grade literacy teacher, I am always looking for different ideas/lessons to incoporate into my classroom. Although I would not use this whole system, this book is nicely organized with ideas on how to build comprehension.

I received this book via Early Reviewers. I am a 5th grade literacy teacher and was excited to get this book. It has great lessons that are easy to read and resources that you can use, especially in the research area of literacy. I will be using some of these lessons this year!

This book is an interesting concept. Younger kids will especially enjoy the easy pattern that can be seen as you move throughout the book. Recommend fro ages 3-6.

I enjoyed reading about different ways to help my girls in these areas. It is a common misconception that girls can't succeed in STEM and I am glad to see someone address this.

This book is AH-MAZING! Seriously, you have lesson objectives, plans, and even homework sections. There's letters to parents and usable Printables for each activity. This doesn't even necessarily HAVE to be gifted either.

I received this book via Early Reviewers. It is a delightful story that sheds light on adoption, orphanages, and Kenya. It gives kids a perspective they might not have realized before reading about it. I also enjoyed the ending that provides informational text to go along with the story and give background information.

I enjoyed this book and even shared some of its contents with our school's gifted teacher. I personally love when books give you resources that you can use within the classroom.

I received this via Early Reviewers. I enjoyed hearing about the theory of how pretzels were made (since no one really knows). Cute story with a recipe in the back. Unfortunately, my book was not bound or even stapled which makes it hard to share with my class.

I received this book via Early Reviewers and I have to say, "Wow!" It has detailed lessons with essential questions that make history more interesting. Can't wait to utilize this next year (our school year is only a couple days from being over).

Cute book. I would have been happier with a thicker storyline, but it wasn't horrible. There are some parts of the story that seem out of sequence which is why I rated lower.

This book is very well written and easily educates children about a man that went through slavery and became so much more. It tells it how it was lightly so there is no debate, but does not water it down as to forget what slavery was. Thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end.

Absolutely fantastic book that gives you lessons, teacher notes, and the actual activities. It is hard to find these great lessons online (unless you want to pay a yearly fee) and these are conveniently in a nice neat book. Love that I can use these straight out of the book!

I received this book via Early Reviewers. First of all, just looking at this book, you will find that it is absolutely gorgeous. Great illustrations, nice hardcover, even comes with a DVD to celebrate its anniversary! The storyline goes along very well and right when you are highly interested BLAM it's over. In my opinion, the story does not follow a plot--no neat, clean wrap-up. It's got great historical/nonfiction pieces added in, but how did the story really end? I found myself asking too many questions about what happened to give it a five star.

I received this book via Early Reviewers. As a teacher, this book is absolutely invaluable! It not only tells you how to do Performance Based Assessments, but gives you rubrics (or how to create them), and (my personal favorite) it gives you a sample mock trial for A. Wolf versus Little Pig with characters from other fairy tales as witnesses. So wonderful!

I received this book via Early Reviewers. Initially, I wanted this book to see if there were any teacher secrets I hadn't learned yet (there wasn't). Great book to loan to parents. Very well written.

This is a terrific short story! I love Mikis and how he doesn't follow the norms because he is caring about a donkey. Great ending and outstanding life lessons.

This is a cute little story that goes through the alphabet, but also throughout the year. I found that you can teach many different things using this book (alphabet, weather, months, holidays, etc.). Very creative!

I received this book via Early Reviewers and I must say that I was highly impressed! I teach fourth grade and they loved to follow the story about Gabe who eventually learns that the number she ended up with a jersey number in hockey that was important to her grandma and actually means something. Very well written and students love it!

I received this book via Early Reviewers. What an interesting book that adds details to ALL sorts of illnesses and diseases that have gotten ahold of the population. My students are attracted to this book like flies with its skull on the cover. Many times, they come up and ask me a question or even give me a random fact about an illness. Great book!

I received this book via Early Reviewers. WOW! This book has so many resources to use as a teacher. The book is written to follow completely through (front to back), but I can't help (as most teachers can't) to just pick and choose some of my favorite resources and activities! I love how this book gives great ideas, advice, and (most importantly) RESOURCES!

I received this book via Early Reviewers. As a teacher, I am always looking for ways to help children where they struggle and also to help parents who seem to just give up and need advice. In saying this, I feel that this book did NOT deliver very many tips (educator bashing aside) and was not a "here are some things you can do" book. If you are looking for explicit advice, I recommend a different book.

I received this book via Early Reviewers. This book is a cute book that features rhymes to keep the audience engaged. I agree that younger students would love it, however, older students may read too much into Miss Mousie being called fat and the only one that loves her ends up being blind. I feel that is too much of a gender stereotype for older kids that are going through the awkward stages of life.

This book is a great way to talk comfortably with children about people who have disabilities and assistive devices. Although people have mentioned that it is great for preschoolers and really early elementary, I disagree. This book opens doors for older elementary students, too, that may not have had the opportunity to discuss with an adult about how people are different. As a teacher, I see the whole picture of this book and use it every National Disability Week to provide my students with conversations to help them understand all about disabilities and assistive devices.

I received this book via Early Reviewers. First of all, the presentation of the book is fantastic. Very colorful and well illustrated. (I was especially surprised and happy to see my book was signed by Dallas Clayton himself!) The poems themselves are silly and great for kids to follow. My favorite poem in the whole book is called "The Breaks." I laughed so hard that I shared it with my husband who also thought it was cute. Great book! Can't wait to share with my class.

I received this book via Early Reviewers. As a teacher, this book was a hit! It had plenty of lessons that were easy to follow and understand at the perfect time of year! Although this includes several printables to copy, I still would have loved to have just a few more, especially kid-friendly hand-outs, etc.
