Did not finish. Well written and interesting story but was just kinda boring
Solid read. A bit tropey here and there but unique enough in other places to make up for it
Fun book with great racy art. Wish they weren't going so hard down the brother sister route. Never been a fan of incest stuff. Overall fun read though
I like the idea of this, it's a really fun concept but pulled off poorly. The main character is too crazy and bizarre and the amount of suspension of disbelief all the slasher stuff takes is kinda crazy. Couldn't get behind the main char or plot. Just kinda too weird for its own good
Gave up at page 150. Not bad or anything, just boring
Pretty good overall. Too long though. Was a real slog towards the end. Nothing special but a fun read
Man I wanted to like this book but it was really disappointing. It felt like the book was addicted to bad twists. The insanely evil and dangerous delvers? Just exterminating life by accident cause they didn't know what they were doing. The hyperdrive the Superiority is guarding and the greatest secret they hold? Cytonic slugs. Spensa having to kill a brainwashed human to save humanity? Surprise that person lived. How? Hell if I know. Also that human being brainwashed and emotionally traumatized throughout her life creating an interesting counterpoint to Spensa actually out for political power. Every twist just kept reducing the story and making me less interested which is a bummer
Was ok. Thought it was going to be one story about a Swim Club ran by Succubi but that was really just the premise for the first few stories. It just devolved into random short smut stories from there. It was ok but I wish it had stuck with its initial premise and had made a story out of it
Did not finish. Chars are generic, world is boring and just couldn't finish it
Did not finish. Just got bored halfway through. Some interesting ideas and setting but just doesn't follow thorough
Eh, it's fine. Kinda boring genetic scifi setting
Good art. Interesting world and premise but pretty bland characters and plot
Absolute mess, barely finished it. Had little to no idea what was going on. Plot jumped all over the place and was hard to follow.
Gave up about halfway in. The magic system seemed interesting but unexplored. The love story between the guy and the troll was boring and took up half the story. It took way too long to get to the bulk of the story. Onna was interesting and I wish the book would have ditched the troll and ex-army dude part entirely and focus on her story
Did not finish. Boring, meandering, drags on and on. Had some cool ideas and concepts but just went nowhere
A great insightful book giving a great explanation as to why the world turned out the way it did. Although I skipped the last hundred pages cause it really started to ditch the thesis of the book into more general history of China and Africa
Fun old style classic fitting for the diablo universe
Great coming out story but incredibly boring superhero story. Worth the read but I don't have much interest in the sequels
Gave up at page 176. No plot was happening. Main character was boring. Magic had zero depth. Characters were forgettable and overall felt like it was going nowhere fast. There's buildup and setup and then there's just plain boring
Gave up on page 100. Really struggled through the Hellboy fan fiction and after that couldn't find a story I liked. I was mostly interested in more Old Kingdom stories but there doesn't seem to be many. The other short stories are just too bland to read
Note to self: Final section of Worm web serial
Great start going into the US colonial and imperial system. Lost me a bit when it got to standardization and language. Was hoping for more on things like the world trade center and how we took over Panama for the canal
Got to page 115 and stopped. World building was bizarre. Jumped around wildly. And was so incoherent I barely knew what the plot was. One of the chars mentioned on the back of the book has been in all of 5 pages so far. Just too confusing to be worth finishing
Bland fantasy world. Forced exposition. Weird pacing. Felt like a generic dnd campaign turned into a book
Note to self - Worm web serial continued
This is an amazing 300 page book written in 1,000 pages
