My first by this author, not to be my last. A very even tempered paced nice read. Very likable hero and heroine.
Sweet story .
Sweet story .
This is the 4th book by Kristan Higgins I've read. Enjoyed this one for the most part, but the story dragged a bit.
This is the 2nd by this author and quite enjoyable. My description of this book is:Christian action suspense.
Definitely enjoyable reading.
Definitely enjoyable reading.
One of the best, Christian historical's I've read, with a verbally spicey relationship entre the hero and heroine.
It does give me the calm feeling I get from a lot of Christian fiction. it is interesting and kept me reading. This is an author I will follow.

Now I know why I was given this book free. The only story worth reading is by Joy Nash.
Yet another quirky, independent heroine, who must chase the hero until he catches her.Lisle, our hero, has returned from years spent in Egypt to find Olivia, our heroine, all grown up and of course as in most regency novels gorgeous. He is afraid of her outrageous way of thinking and behaving while he is staid and methodical, logical. But she brings him to the light.
It's a fun book.

Fun to read about a "blue stocking" who does not lose her identity to love. Harriet is a woman to be re conned with, as she searches for fossils in the caves of their estate. The hero St. Justin, Beast of Blackthorne Hall is as exaggerated in his characterization as is Harriet is.
One of Miller's best stories, complete in itself with out appearing to be part of a series.
This is my second book by this author. The mystery--murder-- took up more space then I liked but even more disconcerting was hearing the murder's side of his dastardly deed. But the romance and the word play between the hero and heroine was superb. Quite enjoyable all in all.
It was fun re- reading this books by my favorite authors.
Pleasant reading, about triplets separated at 2 yrs. More engrossing than I originally expected.
This book came into my hands and I read it not bothering to wait for the first three to read.I have enjoyed Lauren's books in the past, but for some reason the sexual content of this book was off putting for me. I did enjoy the main characters especially Esme. All in all an enjoyable read.
I enjoyed reading about the life of a food critic. However it would have been nice if the copies of the reviews she had written and been in a separate appendix or something. For me they interrupted the flow of the narrative. The book bogged down a bit in the middle but picked up again towards the end. All in all a good quick read.
Loved it,Loved it,Loved it.She was so transparent in writing about her life, and such a gifted writer that it was a pleasure to read.
I could not get past page270, the limited plot bored me. Gwen wants Alex, but the dancing around is long and tedious. Their lives were interesting but not as they related to one another.
Are all the rich shallow, selfish and heartless and all the poor kind generous and giving? Jayne is poor and Rebecca is rich can they really be friends? This story was fast moving if shallow, at least to me. But I must try another of Mallory's books to get a better feel for her writing..
THis book was slow starting mid way through it I got engaged in these two, and til the end it was interesting.
This book touched on women's voting rights, the war between the states, slavery and lynching. These serious themes were handled very intelligently with out disrupting the main love story. Quite an accomplishment.
Reread Tender Triumphs, enjoyed much more. But Ramon is so over bearing he is hard to like.
Secondary characters and ghosts made it confusing at times.
the retelling of Cinderella re:Eloisa James. A delightful fantasy read.
A found it a fun read that contrasted the English aristocracy to their American cousins, who were quite unsophisticated, unpretentious and free wheeling( as free wheeling as girls could be at that time).
The hero, Caleb Delaude aka Do-Lord and the heroine, Emmie are both drawn as bright articulate and independent. He has a need to use her to get revenge on someone she knows, which adds a cloudiness to his motives and she feels unsettled without knowing why. Very well written and totally engrossing and entertaining. Again the Navy Seals make interesting heroes.
This book was about 100 pages too long to me. The mystery was confusing and could have been left out and let the romance stand on its own.
I really enjoyed this book, the hero and heroine were both strong characters "no fading violet" was she. The information about the Navy Seals was fascinating. This is the only book in this series I have read, but I plan to get the other two ,if they are as good as this one I will be happy
Another book which was too confusing to read, switching back and forth in time was impossible to keep straight. I did not finish it.
I couldn't read this book written in an English dialect. May try at another time.
I read and enjoyed the first three books in this series. This was a disappointment, I found it hard to get into . I didn't care about the heroine and Stephen was too good and too passive initially. Finally the characters developed enough for me to care about them and their story. When things fell into place and the mystery surrounding Cassandre was solved things made sense so it was not a total waste of time.
