Very enjoyable with several twists (tho not much romance) and super suspenseful cliffhanger ending. Bianca is a thief whose father is killed in their heist but no one believes he is dead.
Good story and kept my attention for the drive to nj. Serial murderer trying to blame it on a psychotic woman. The whole girlfriend thing with Alex tho is a bit weird
Enjoyable but very short and not much of a plot. Marriage of convenience where Carolyn falls in love and Eric takes longer
too basic and not very interesting or insightful. Would be good for a novice who knows little or nothing about Jesus but was too basic for me. The illustrations were beautiful though.

Good story and suspenseful ( even tho I had figured it out). Definitely worth reading the next in the series. Main characters Sara and Jeff were appealing and they are trying to get back together after horrific murders in their town
Didn’t like this. Got about 40% thru and didn’t like any of the characters so stopped (since it was due at the library anyway). April 2018
Pretty bad overall. The main character is Joanna who runs a vintage clothing store in Portland. There is a murder where she finds the body, and then another, etc . The romance with Paul is almost non0existent and the story really becomes pretty far fetched.
The fifth in the rescued from ruin series by Elisa Braden. The first four were really good - this one not so much. Viola Darling is pursuing James Tannenbrook and as you discover the reason he is resisting - it just all seems dumb. The romance is decent but the characters, plot and yes even the romance didn’t really hit the mark for me.
I didn’t like this one as much as the previous three books. It was still really good but Chatham - the main character - was still kind of a jerk after he recovered from being an alcoholic.
still a very enjoyable series.

while gruesome at times, this was a gripping novel with lots of twists. Although an alcoholic, I kind of liked Harry Hole, the detective who was relentless in his search for the killer.
I don't know why I liked this one more than the first book (Madness of Viscount Atherbourne) but I did. I would rate it 5 but that seems unreasonable for a trashy novel.

I had read this before but never recorded it. It was a very good trashy novel. Lucien wants revenge on the duke of Blackmore for killing his brother in a duel and the only way he can do it is to disgrace the dukes sister Victoria and then keep her from her family. Logic is a little off and I’m not sure I would have forgiven him like Victoria did but good romance.
Ok audio book but a bit slow and draggy. There is a high school girl murdered and a prominent doctor is accused. The plot thickens with drug lords, gangs, other affairs, etc. A little over the top but ok. Not really something I would recommend. Penn Cage the main character is ok but a little self righteous.
Book about three widows who live together immediately after the European World War II ends in Germany. It is thought provoking and fairly depressing, and is interesting look at how the women (through flashbacks) came to be where they are and the tremendous guilt and impact of Nazi germany on its citizens.
Pure romance. Not like the other Sandra brown books I’ve read that have a lot of action, but it was a good fluffy romance.
Characters were not appealing and was slowwwww. Thomas Colman the minister was a jerk and Jocelyn continued to love him 20 years ridiculously
The first two books in the series were very good but this one was not. The plot was slow, and the fact that the two sisters Cassie and Allie dramatically changed their personalities and hated one another and both ended up in psych wards was a little too much (and add in a long lost, unknown adopted sister and it was over the top)
bad book that was all over the place and was ridiculous
good book about a husband that comes back from the war when everyone thought he was dead. He actually ends up being the bastard son/brother of the dead guy.
good Heath book; the heroine wants to experience love instead of just fortune hunters and ends up falling in love with a duke - who also turns out to need her money
Really good sequel to deep freeze. Travis and Shannon are looking for Travis daughter Dani and there is a crazed arsonist killing people
Pretty mediocre. Alison is a hacker helping Liam at the fbi and falls in love but he doesn’t want to fall in love etc etc
Decent Eloisa James book tho predictable of course. Trent and merry fall in Love
Really gripping mystery about Jenna who is a former movie actress who is being stalked by a serial killer and Shane is the sheriff. A lot of twists and trying to figure out who did it
this book was ok - mystery about what occurred during a lightening storm. The main character was a little lame but overall it was pretty good. Not sure good enough to read more of the series though.
good story though a little predictable - I'll probably read the third one since I went out of order and read the second first and then the first
Very good book. Girls sister disappears and she hires a private eye (Max) trying to find her

I had read this before a long time ago but it was great. Laura has to take British bride who someone is trying to kill. Just great romance and conflict
Not bad but not great. Connellys new detective Rene Ballard is interesting but no Harry Bosch.
