This was so steamy and oh-so-good. The perfect mix of grumpy/sunshine and a MMC that's absolutely obsessed.

Although I'm sure some of the cultural references went over my head (my fault), I found this book to be hilarious and ironic. Definitely looking forward to reading the final publication.

I (think) I get where the author was trying to go with this one, but the plot twist was just so obvious from so early on that it made the gore and horror feel relatively unnecessary. Unsettling in the nth degree.

If you asked me to tell you the plot of this book, I could not remember. If you asked me to tell you the names of the characters or the places they visited, I could not remember. All I can tell you is that this book grabbed hold of my heart and did not let go until the end. Beautiful.

So full of its own self-reverential cleverness that I think it's turned me off soup forever.

Although the plot felt a little stagnant in this book, I loved the focus on the intricacies of the characters and how their stories all wove together. I felt that it gave real context to the world I was reading about and the characters I was following.

I loved this. So so cheesy and so so good. The way that St. Clair incorporated so many Fairy Tale stereotypes humorously was so fun. Can't wait to read the next one.

A very interesting and thought-provoking book, but I felt that it fell short of really getting into the grit of the issue and missed the mark slightly.

I felt like this book was missing the camaraderie and intrigue that the previous books had. The "found family" story at the center of the character's journies was mostly absent, and as such it lacked the usual warmth and adventure held by the previous books.

This series has always been one of my favourites. It feels as if I’ve been waiting years for this book and to know how this story would end. There were so many fantastic elements, but also a few that just didn’t work for me.
In particular, Hermes has always been a favourite character for me, but in this book he is relegated to a one dimensional, comedic relief, side character. The way he was written was very jarring and in many ways took me out of the story and made it hard to read.
Glad my favourite King and Queen of the Dead finally got their happy ending though.
Well done Scarlett.

This book made me feel something deep in my soul. This will forever be a favourite of mine.

Not the end I was expecting, but the end the characters deserved
Tithe by Holly Black

The main character seems to only have one personality trait, which is 'weird'. The story itself is good, but the logistics seem a little confusing at times and the magic system not entirely thought out.

Do you ever get the feeling that a lot is happening, but also nothing is happening at the same time? This book is like that.

Whatever Ali Hazelwood fills her Female Main Characters with, I am addicted to it.

This was not as good as the others in the series, though it is almost impossible to be better than Empress of Salt and Fortune. However, it's always lovely to be back with Chih and Almost Brilliant.

Maybe it was the whisky or the fact that I'm 20 years older than the targeted reading age, but I just didn't get it.

Interesting and uplifting, but felt that it ended just as it was really hitting it's stride.

If you're looking for a satisfying ending to a series, this is not it. Not an element of the main character's personality was left by the end of the book.

Somehow both a completely stereotypical YA novel, and also everything I was looking for.

This book had everything I could have asked for - besides maybe a second Chapter 55.

This book was so good in so many ways except the fact that Chaol appears to have left his big boy pants at home.

This book pulled the whole series together for me. All the subplots, the deviations from the main storyline, it all came together in an incredible way.

I am… so very full of feelings. Somehow I didn't even know how much I loved these characters until the very end. Spectacular.

Not a bad introduction to the werewolf romance genre, and I just adored Misery. There's just something about Ali Hazelwood's female characters that keeps me obsessed.

If only finding your soul mate in the real world was as easy as falling over in a forest.
