A book about one of the exiles for the Tiannanmen Square massacre. Although he touches breifly on what got him in trouble, it is not very clear. This must be on purpose. The book is more about his life from the time his family is in a car accident in the US and he becomes the caregiver of his crippled wife. This is more about learning who he is and waking up to what he lost than about being in exile. An ok read, but check it out of the library.
