Set in Mountain View, Montana, in the 1880s, this heart-warming story kicks off the Unwelcome Brides series. I enjoyed Emma and Marcus’ story. The intriguing plot with danger and a bit of sweet romance flows at a steady pace. The characters are likeable (except one) and easy to cheer for. I think other historical romance fans will enjoy this short, entertaining read.

Liberating Mrs. Mctavish, set in 1880s Montana, is a fitting addition to the dual- author Captive Western Widows series. The death of her husband on their wedding day leaves naïve but feisty Mary McTavish in a dangerous situation. U.S. Federal Marshall Luke Flanagan, who has been investigating her husband criminal activity, finds himself as her protector against her husband’s killer. As the danger heightens, their romantic relationship blooms. A smoothly flowing plot sprinkled with action and suspense, well-crafted characters, and sweet romance combine to make this a touching, entertaining read. Note: Each book in the series is a standalone read.

I enjoyed my visit to Pleasant Valley, Montana, where I met strong, independent yet vulnerable Maisy McGraw and her heroic bodyguard Beau Hardner. I love these two as individuals and as a couple and how their relationship develops through a surprising plan to safeguard her late husband’s bank and protect Maisy’s reputation and her life. Set in 1880s, this captivating historical romantic novella, the fourth book in the dual-author Captive Western Widows series, is the first book I have read by Cheryl Wright. I love her clear concise writing style and attention to detail. This short read is a perfect combination of action, suspense, and romance. I highly recommend this book as a quick, satisfying read especially for western romance fans. Note: Each book in the series is a standalone read.

It is never too early to begin reading Christmas stories and I was happy to see there is a new multi author series, Christmas Bride Dilemma. It starts off with Cheryl Wright's Trapped in Grand Falls. I enjoyed going back in time to meet up with Abigail and Benjamin. I was instantly intrigued with their story and liked there was some light suspense that kept me engaged from start to finish. I loved every single page.
Five stars is what I will be giving the wonderful Trapped in Grand Falls. I believe readers and fans of clean holiday historical fiction will most definitely want to start off Christmas Bride Dilemma series. I am hoping to get the second installment, Trapped in Grantville to see what dilemma Margaret Tanner has in store for her characters.
I received a digital copy of Cheryl Wright's Trapped in Grand Falls from the author, but was not required to write a review, nor a positive one. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
