This short book (very well done in the audiobook version) is impossible to stop once you start. You just can't wait to see how it ends. I came into this knowing that the movie version starred Charles Bronson, so it was difficult not to picture him as I listened. He's a melon farmer who despite just wanting to get his crop in, isn't quite as simple as he seems. When he crosses paths with a contract killer, a fascinating cat and mouse game begins. A simple story, told straightfowardly, just as long as it needs to be, and not a second longer. Highly highly recommended.… (more)
