This publication appears to be a republishing of an essay written on the occasion of the loan exhibition, 'The Arts of the T'ang Dynasty' held at the Los Angeles County Museum from january 8 - February 17, 1957.
In this essay, Henry Trubner acknolwedges the lenders and supporters of this exhibition, and also a description and comparison of several works in the exhibition, which consisted of ceramics, paintings and metal sculpture.
